Adall was now back within the walls of the city of Hector.
He resumed the appearance of Chris, the identity he had previously used in the city, and rented a room in the same inn as before. It was the first time in over a week that he lay down on something as comfortable as a mattress, but he couldn't close his eyes for even a minute to relax, as he was too excited at the thought of counting the spoils from the massacre he had carried out.
He then sat up on the bed and took out the purified core fragments newly at his disposal from his storage space. These were numerous enough to cover a significant part of the bed when he spread them out.
