I am Dean Norris and I am a gamer.
Today, I purchased a video game known as 'Nether Saga'
Even I do not know why I purchased this game. It was as if I was… ummm… yeah mesmerized would be the right word if I have to explain it. And I was not mesmerized by the gameplay or something like that. It's my first time hearing this game's name. And believe me, I know all the games in the 'action-adventure' genre.
Okay… I will recount what happened in the store.
'This is hard which game should I pick? '
'Razor Boy' or 'Soul Wars'
'I want to play both but this month I am short on money.'
I stood there for 1 hour contemplating about it. Until I decided to purchase 'razor boy'. As I was going to move from the action-adventure section my eyes noticed a strange CD cover.
'Huh… what is that… 'Nether Saga' why have I never heard of it before? Is it of a different genre or a new game that I wasn't aware of?'
'Let's scratch the second option. I know all the games, so it must be the staff's fault for arranging this in this section. What should I do? Should I ask the staff to relocate to its original place? But I can't do that. I hadn't talked to a person in 4 months until yesterday when my mom called me and I called her a 'commoner'
'AHHH!! What should I do? It was the side effects of the game that I was playing too much. What can I even do… I was the king in the game. I still feel embarrassed when I think about what happened yesterday.'
'Okay, Dean pick up the damn game and put it in its right place (no pun intended).'
As soon as I picked the game, I felt something. A feeling that is hard to describe… I walked to the counter and said "Commoner, how much for this?"
The store employee looked weirded out by me but, who cares right?
[PRESENT TIME]
This is what happened.
And now I am stuck with this sh*tty game.
Now no point in sulking. Let's search on the internet, what this game is about.
About 30 minutes later.
'WHAT!'
There was no information about this game.
Should I return it? No, the store has no return policy.
Sh*t let's just complete this d*mn game.

[WOOSH]
I inserted the CD in my Gaming Desktop PC.
And then the game started.
A page opened up on my monitor screen.
[1. Tsundere Heroine]
[2. Yandere Villainous]
"…"
There was an unexpected question on my screen.
I grasped onto my mind and went blank for a moment.
What is this, a joke? Am I supposed to answer this? Are there going to be more questions like this? Is this a dating game? Is this like story development questions like if I choose option 2, I will be a villain, or option 1 to be a hero?
After thinking for a moment, I chose number 2. Why? Because tsunderes are annoying. Oh AMITABHA! Sorry to those guys who love tsundere but please don't hurt me. As for Yandere… they are crazy but still less annoying and lovable.
'COUGH'
Anyway,
On my screen, the second question appeared.
[1. Strength]
[2. Knowledge]
The second option is because Sir Francis Bacon said "Knowledge is Power". Knowing more than strength is important. Maybe I am also choosing it because my IQ is 145.
The third question appeared.
[1. Sacrifice your loved ones and yourself to save the world]
[2. Sacrifice the world to save yourself and your loved ones]
Second option, I don't think I need to explain it.
After completing about 10 more questions.
A weird question appeared.
[1. Be the ignorant, and watch the world end]
[2. Basic information about the world and how the world ends and try changing it]
Without hesitation, I chose the second option because as a man who believes in knowledge, how can I let this opportunity go?
Then…
A bright white light shined from my monitor screen.
This was the last scenery I could remember.
My conscience was flickering.
I felt my eyelids were closed shut.
I felt that my skin was being burnt by a thousand-degree fire and at the same time I felt cold like I bathed in liquid nitrogen.
I felt my face repeatedly stomped by an elephant… no a 100 elephant.
I felt like my insides were being destroyed and being reformed again and again.
Then my conscience stopped.
Then.
Then......
Then I opened my eyes.
