"Let's go, Daniel," Jake's beckoned, motioning for Daniel to follow.
"Okay," Daniel replied, falling into step behind them.
As they reached the command center, only one soldier was visible inside.
"Anthony, where's the commander?" the soldier called out.
"Walt, the commander went to his armored vehicle and joined the soldiers fighting on the coast," Anthony informed him.
"Hey, you! What do you want to tell the commander? We can relay it over the radio," Walt offered, eyeing Jake's and Daniel with suspicion.
Anthony was hunched over the radio, desperately trying to get a clear signal. The static crackled and hissed, then a faint voice emerged, "the zo--," but the transmission cut off abruptly. Frustrated, Anthony turned towards Walt and the others, raising his hand for silence. "Keep quiet a little. I am trying to fix the frequency of the radio. I got a call coming from the front of the base."
