"How, Papa?" Katie asked again when her father had not said anything for over a minute. There was a faraway look in his eyes.
"Papa." She called his attention.
"Hmmn." He replied, looking at her.
"How did they settle their differences. It's kinds hard for me to process." She asked him and he chuckled.
"It's a long story, Princess. Do you want to hear it?" Her father replied and her face lit up.
Hearing tales and stories of her parents families was one past time that she enjoys so much.
Anytime her uncles or aunts visits, she and her siblings always badger them for such stories and if their parents should say anything related to their childhood, she and her siblings always turn it to story time.
She will always boast of her stories to her best friend, Aurora, when she gets back to school and she will always do the same. That was one thing that made them close; the shared bond of family.
