"Alpha Steve." Kane called out as he watched him raced off into the woods. "That's not the way to Dante's manor." He said to himself in confusion.
"Should I go after him?" He thought as he scratched his head, confusedly. "No. He said he wants to go alone. Damn." His confusion was increasing.
"Should I then inform Dante?" He walked a few steps then stopped. "As if Dante will care." Kane was really stumped as he thought of what to do.
"I'll just inform Beta Blackwood." He concluded, turning back into the manor.
He was one among the few that Alpha Steve had let in on the fact that the Beta was still alive. He had kept it a deep secret, that was why the Beta was housed in the underground room of the Alpha's house.
The Alpha kept little or no workers and would rather attend to state matters in his office at the Pack's complex.
