Then, Irene walked out of Aurora's room, where she had been taken to, to relax better.
"I will answer your questions!" Irene announced. Theo quickly went to her and took her to sit down, besides him, then he held her hand in his, tenderly.
"Thank you. Did you perhaps hear anything like footsteps, at any point in time, before you fell asleep, after the training?" Elias asked Irene.
"Yes, I did. Actually, I heard more than just footsteps. I heard a voice coughing but I disregarded it, believing it was one of the pedestrians, then I heard the owner of the voice, walk away. " Irene revealed.
"Alpha, the identity of the victim has been discovered!" Liam called on the attention of Elias, after getting mind linked by someone.
"Who is it?" Elias asked and swallowed hard, dreading the answer.
