"Dante." Katie rushed back inside just as Kane is being dragged away. He smirked mischievously at her when he was dragged past her and Katie stated at him in amusement.
Ms. Collins had turned and was heading upstairs, but stopped when she heard Katie's voice.
"Ms. Katie." Ms. Collins called as she walked briskly to meet up with her.
"Ms. Collins, Where's Dante?" She asked, looking worried at her.
Ms. Collins watched her face turn from worriedness to askance, "why are you staring at me that way? Is there something on my face?" She asked as she swiped a hand across her face.
"No, there is nothing on your face." She said with a chuckle. "I'm just amused that you know my name." It was a statement of amusement, rather than a question.
Scratching her head, Katie was at a loss on what to say. "I was just pulling your legs. I guess I'm not one to make jokes." She said with a small smile and Katie chuckled nervously.
