Ella stayed that way for a while as she regains her strength. She stood upright and tried to take deep breaths.
They remained in the island for a day or two. Alice left and is yet to return. They were a bit worried on what to do; stay and wait for Alice or just leave. They ended up staying for a week. The island was a place to take a vacation from. The forest, breath taking.
In the second week, almost the last two days, Alice returned.
Alice was quite pleased to meet them. They remained there till the end of the week. On the first day of the third week, they bid their good byes. Although the baby had been moving so much in the past two weeks. Ell couldn't be more thrilled. She enjoyed but the pain and joy the baby brings. It occur to her that her family can never hurt her. They're stuck with her in as much as she's stuck with them. She liked that.
