"I want to marry but now, I'm not sure." Ella said after a while.
"Ella dear, think this through. You can still get married, but to either of them. Someone different and …different." The king answered.
"True enough. I…" Ella was at a loss for words to say.
"Think about it, you have time to. But we don't have the luxury of time though." Felix said.
Harvey wanted to say something but kept on suppressing his words.
"Ella dear?" The king called.
"Can I think about it?" Ella finally asked.
"Yes, but in limited time." Salvador answered.
"Two days top, full moon is in two day, and I am expected to have a mate before midnight. Two days is it for me." Felix replied.
"Can we meet tomorrow?" Ella asked.
"Yes of course." It was the king that answered for them.
The boys could make it tomorrow. They'll have to be here by tomorrow.
Ella stood and left the ball room and soon after, the boys left one after the other. Everyone has to wait for her decision.
The boys neither left the castle that night nor slept. They matched the hallways so that they had an accurate mental map of the castle. They went to their rooms early in the morning to their rooms and changed.
Breakfast was served but Ella was not at the table. She had her breakfast in her room. She had lunch there too. The boys – most especially Felix and Salvador – had to control themselves the most from appearing in her room.
The boys met at the table after lunch and talked. They figured out that Salvador was a vampire prince, Felix an alpha and Harvey was the son of the president. They were all people of great personalities.
They were all bold and confident, brave and definite. They all knew what they wanted and they always got what they wanted.
Even though Harvey was not the one that intuited the marriage proposal between him and Ella, he wants to be part of her life. He wants her to be part of his life. So do the others.
They were about to round up their discussion when Ella descend from the grand stairs. She looked beautiful as always.
Ella was up in her room for no particular reason, to begin with. She ate in her room and stayed in her room, so unlike her. The boys were something she wanted to think about but ended up thinking less about them. As she descended the stairs, she saw them sitting at the table talking.
She was more surprised to see that they could even contain each other. That was new, everything was possible then.
She did not feel any weird feelings nor saw Felix's eyes. That was a good sign, they were really giving her her space and time to really think this through. She appreciated that alone.
"Good morning, my lords." She greeted me as she approached.
The boys looked at each other then back to her confused.
She smiled and took a seat. "Good morning, good afternoon and good day because we haven't met today, have we?" She cleared out.
They smiled as they shook their heads without saying a word.
The king came in afterwards moments later and sat on his chair. "I came as soon as I heard you were out and downstairs. Hope your day is well, dear." The king commented.
"My day is just fine, should I say the same for you dad?" She replied.
"You made me a bit worried. You never lock yourself up in your room and that long. But I'm fine now that I see your face." The king smiled with a sigh.
Ella could really see the tension on his face and felt guilty. "I didn't mean to, my Lord. I just wanted to be alone. At least I can be alone for the now, 'cause later I won't be alone again." She replied.
"Cat got your tongues?" The king joked intently looking at the boys carefully.
"No sir." They chorused.
"Then talk more." The king urged.
The boys looked at each other still, none altered a word. They just smiled and said nothing.
"I feel a bit hungry, is there any food left?" Ella asked intentionally avoiding any topic leading to the yesternight discussion.
"Yes dear, I order them to bring you some. They'll be here soon." The king replied.
Ella sat and waited for the maids to serve her. She ate and left the table.
The king was worried that he might be pressuring her on the marriage issue. But he wanted her to make the decision.
The boys were worried too. It showed on their faces. They wanted her to make her decision, especially on this matter. So they only have to wait for her.
Evening dawned and each felt aggravated as they waited. Felix was running out of time, and surprisingly so was Salvador. It looks like the vampire prince has a lot to settle too.
Dinner was served but the boys were all asked to be in the garden by the shade. They went and found Ella seated and waiting for them.
Both Felix and Salvador felt their teeth grow. They had to excuse themselves to control themselves before returning back to the table. They sat and ate silently as they waited for her to say something, positive or negative, they were all up for it.
Ella knew she had to say something but she wasn't up to it. She sat and ate her food and forgot all about the men surrounding her.
When she ate and finished, she felt better. Even if the boys neither spoke nor moved. She tried to muffle her laughter and ended up smiling instead.
"This food tastes nice, don't you think so?" She asked suddenly.
"Hmm." Was all they could say.
"For tough people like yourselves, 'hmm' seems rather unroyal and short per se for someone of your status." Ella said, looking up at the boys one after another.
"Well, 'hmm' seems rather satisfying to say around you." Salvador said, trying to control his urge to bite her.
"I agree with him on that." Felix said he felt the same as Salvador.
"Totally with them on this one." Harvey said and every eye turned his way.
Well I guess no one knows how he feels inside, but none said anything.
"That's new." Ella said with a sigh. "That doesn't happen all the time. Anyway, I have made my choice regarding the three of you but I want to ask you a question before then. What will happen after marriage?" She asked.
When she looked up after no reply came through, she met their gazes on her. Maybe she was not specific in her question.
"Oh I mean, where will we live? At your house?" She pointed to Harvey, "or at your house?" She pointed at Felix, "or at your house?" She pointed at Salvador finally.
Still no one answered, then it dawned on her.
"None of you thought this through, did you?" She asked, amazed.
When they all shook their heads, smiled as she sat back.
"If I marry the two of you, where will I live? Where will you live? At your house? Unbelievable!" Ella frowned.
"Well missy, you can live at one's house today and the other a week after." Salvador said.
"Right! And that's okay by you all? So what if I ended up marrying the three of you, where would I live? From one house to another, right a slot?" Ella was beginning to get angry about their carelessness about the matter at hand.
"I have a house by the border," a voice said from the dark, "I can give it to you until you build your own house, my dear." The king emerged from the dark and sat beside Ella. "You don't have a problem with that right?"
"No sir, thanks." She said to her father the king. And the boys she said happily, "and that solves it all." She stood and left for her room.
"Wait, solves what up?" Salvador asked after her, but she ran on.
"Solves your marriage." The king replied. "She wants all of you, or rather she is going to marry all of you. So look at her boys, if my daughter has a headache talk-less of cry." The king warned. He knew he did not need to say it all. They were brilliant men.
"See you in the morning for the wedding plans." The king said and left.
The three men sat back without saying a word. They knew they wanted Ella, but they never thought of where to keep her after marriage. She was right, they thought in dismay, they were too careless to think of it since the onset.
Well they thought they would just take her home, but home is in three dimensions now; Felix's, Harvey's and Salvador's houses. Having their wife on the road from one house to another did not sound appealing to either of them.
They sat and thought about the matter properly. They discussed the matter into the dark and only left for the castle a bit before midnight.
