Chapter 30 - Chapter 30.

As soon as the Honkai Templar-Class Beast sensed the danger ahead, it roared and fired a beam of energy at the enemy.

But with just a wave of its hand, Yumeji easily deflected the beam of energy into the sky.

Then, he stomped on the ground and instantly teleported himself to the Templar. While hovering in front of it, he swiftly unleashed countless punch and kick combos that caused the surrounding air to shake and shatter.

Finally, he launched a high kick that sent the Templar flying into the air.

"...so that's a Honkai energy field? Now it's even more like a ball."

From afar, the two Chariots that I had just sent flying charged forward like two bulls that had escaped from their cage.

"..."

With a light stomp of my foot, I created enough momentum to cause a mini earthquake that sent the enemy flying into the air.

Done, with another gasp, I immediately moved at super speed and kicked the two Chariots with the weight of two mini trucks away, but this time it didn't end there. I started to launch consecutive attacks, with that godlike speed I kicked each one from two opposite directions causing them to crash into each other. Standing on top of them as if standing on a meat cushion, I bounced for a while before kicking their heads deep into the ground.

Immediately after, I looked up at the Templar from earlier that had stabilized its position in the air and began to accumulate and shoot an energy beam strong enough to split a 5-story building in half towards me.

Seeing that, I simply pulled out my gun, loaded it with divine power and fired.

The bullet soaked in divine power distorted the space, erased all physical distances and scattered the enemy's energy beam.

-Boomm!!

However, the small recoil from the collision caused the bullet to miss its original target.

"..."

A Seraph charged at a dizzying speed, but I gently dodged and lightly touched it with my hand imbued with divine power, causing it to explode immediately.

Seeing that, not only did the 7 Seraphs not stop, they all charged at me. And so, I gently raised my hand and immediately all of them were stopped in mid-air as if they had just hit an invisible wall.

Then, I gently moved my wrist clockwise, and the space immediately bent and swallowed each Seraph as they were completely sucked into a single point. Finally, when I slowly closed my open palm, the distorted space above turned into a WormHole and swallowed all 7 Seraphs.

"Cough!"

After that, I coughed and a glob of blood spurted out of my mouth.

The divine power around me started to flicker unsteadily, my tendons started to twist and cry out in pain. Half of my vision turned red as blood started to flow from the corner of my eye. I gritted my teeth to endure all of that in order to deliver the final blow.

I pulled out my short sword and gripped it tightly in my hand, the aquamarine divine power immediately covered the blade and with a jump I shot into the sky like a shooting star.

Then I used my sword to cut through the Honkai energy barrier and split the Templar in half

I released the last bit of divine power so I could safely land in front of the stunned and bewildered people around.

Just as I finished off the Templar-Class Honkai Beast, it seemed like everything was over, but history once again refused to let Kallen off the hook.

Another Templar-Class Honkai Beast suddenly appeared, charging towards Kallen at a terrifying speed. While she was panicking, fortunately, Kiana came to her rescue in time.

Kiana suddenly appeared and launched a flying kick at the Honkai Beast while shouting loudly:

"You don't dare to touch a single hair of my beautiful ancestor Kallen!"

I laughed awkwardly as I heard Kiana's battle cry. After that, the feeling of helplessness still filled me when I saw that situation. I wanted to rush over to help, but the heavy feeling from receiving divine power made me collapse. Blood kept flowing from my nose, my head was spinning, and everything around me seemed blurry. My heartbeat also became chaotic, I was about to curse my unfair fate with difficulty when suddenly, an elegant man appeared beside me.

The man with a strange aura, like a noble, looked at me with cold eyes.

"It seems that your incredible power just now came at a heavy price, boy. Well, you showed me an interesting possibility, young man. Now it's my turn to repay you."

He said with a smile, as if he didn't care about my condition. I wanted to know what "reward" was, but I didn't have time to ask, because right after that, Otto waved his hand and started entering data into the air.

"It's convenient to try out new clothes, isn't it? Access the system!"

Otto waved his hand and started entering data.

Right after the update, Kiana, who was struggling to fight, got her new armor

******10 minutes ago*****

Kiana's POV

When she saw Yumeji being stabbed earlier, she was really shocked and wanted to rush over to help.

However, the Honkai Beasts quickly attacked the enemy, including 2 Chariots and 3 Seraphs.

While Bronya was updating her weapon, she had to dodge the enemy's attacks and evacuate the surrounding villagers to a shelter.

She even borrowed an iron pan from a villager to temporarily fight the Honkai Beasts.

Even so, she still struggled to use the frying pan to kill all 3 Seraphs like swatting flies (it's not easy to hit a fly~). She let out a breath, and as soon as Bronya shouted that the weapon update was complete, she let go of the frying pan in her hand and opened her hand.

Then, she received an iron club and a 1911.

Hitting the club on her shoulder, she smiled with fighting spirit and said.

"You guys have had enough of this young lady!"

After saying that, she immediately swung the club in her hand with great force and sent a rock twice the size of a human fist flying into the face of a Chariot with a ball speed of 200km/h.

It staggered immediately after that, and then she immediately added a few more bullets to its legs, causing it to cry out in pain and swing its arm to attack her.

She gently jumped up and ran onto its shoulder, then used the iron club to hit it hard on the face. She continued to hit it dozens of times like that, causing its core to crack a little no matter how hard it tried to defend itself.

The Chariot beside her was not at all calm, it roared and swung its arm to attack.

She jumped back to avoid the attack, after both Chariots collided and fell to the ground, she immediately attacked them violently as if she was beating dogs.

Then, she finished them off with two bullets to the core.

"Phew! That was a good fight~ Huh!?"

As she was relaxing after taking down her enemies, a shiver hit the back of her neck, she turned her head to look back as if she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Yumeji?"

The grumpy classmate she often argued with, now gave her a completely foreign and different feeling as if she was looking at someone completely out of place as if he didn't belong to this world.

It was like looking at a character in a fantasy movie instead of a human being.

"Is that really Yumeji?"

As Kiana was stunned by Yumeji's display of power that was beyond the bounds of common sense, she noticed a Honkai Templar-Class Beast approaching to attack her ancestor Kallen.

She immediately shook off all her uneasy thoughts and rushed to her rescue.

'Don't push yourself too hard, you idiot'

Despite all the inadequacies she felt, she still had complete faith in him, because of the memories they had built together, she would trust her somewhat annoying and hateful friend.

Transforming her uneasy feelings into a grin, she charged forward, unleashing a pair of flying kicks and shouting loudly

"You won't be able to touch a single hair on my beautiful ancestor Kallen!"

****Back to the present****

Kiana kept moving, sweat beading on her forehead. She used the metal rod and Bronya's Railgun, but the weapons seemed to be not strong enough to deal with the ferocious beast in front of her. She gritted her teeth, and let out a soft sigh:

"Tch... is it broken..."

Suddenly, the system's voice rang out in her ears:

*Ding! The update is complete! Equip the God-Slaying Armor, Moonlight Knight!*

Kiana's body was immediately covered in a full-body white armor. Blue energy wings glowed from her back, forming two brilliant beam wings. She clenched her fists, feeling the power of the new armor, unable to hide her excitement:

"This is the ultimate weapon that Bronya mentioned? It's amazing!"

Kiana turned around, pushing the force of the energy wings, soaring into the air, dodging the attack of the Honkai beast. In an instant, she positioned herself and focused all her strength into her wings, shouting loudly:

"Take this! Blaster Beam!"

A series of blue laser beams shot out from her wings, illuminating the surrounding space. Under the rain of powerful beams, the Honkai Beast was unable to fight back, roaring one last time before disappearing into nothingness. She breathed a sigh of relief, looking around for her comrades.

After the battle ended and the chaos gradually subsided. Under the pressure of the people and our determination, Kallen's execution was finally canceled. The people gradually turned around, looking at Kallen with eyes of regret and shame. Some bowed slightly, stuttering an apology, while Kallen just shook her head slightly, her tone humble and a little embarrassed:

"It's okay… We've all been led astray by mistakes at times."

A villager stepped forward, hesitantly looked at me, and said,

"Even though you scolded us so much... it was thanks to you that we realized how blind we were. Thank you!"

Another person couldn't hold back his emotions, and looked at me with gratitude:

"Now that I think about it... You were really cool to stand up for us, brave boy!"

Kallen turned around, put her hand on my shoulder, and smiled slightly, her eyes shining with sincere gratitude:

"Thank you, Yumeji. You're probably even more of a hero than I am."

I scratched my head in embarrassment, not knowing how to respond. Meanwhile, Kiana, with admiration in her eyes, stepped forward in front of Kallen, and said in an emotional voice:

"It's nothing, my ancestors... I'm really happy to meet you."

Bronya and I stepped back, giving the two of them some privacy. They spoke simple words to each other, but they were filled with affection. When everything was done, we waved goodbye to Kallen and the people here, then returned to the real world.

***

As soon as we arrived, Kiana jumped up with excitement:

"This trip was great! Thanks to it, I learned a lot, and I also met my beautiful ancestors!"

I looked at Kiana, suddenly thinking of extinguishing her joy with a practical reminder:

"And it would be even better if you finish this pile of homework. Don't forget that the re-exam is waiting for you, do your best!"

Bronya also nodded in agreement, her tone calm but no less "damaging":

"Bronya agrees. Stupid Kiana still hasn't solved her problem. Now go study, Bronya will help."

Kiana suddenly frowned, her face distorted, and cried out in sorrow:

"No way!!!"

Once again, in a boundless place where the earth and sky merge into an endless expanse of blue, with no beginning or end…

A small boy steps out from the undefined void into this infinite space.

A shadow envelops the boy, hindering world ability to perceive and remember, but it vanishes like mist.

Revealing a transcendent beauty, one that knows no boundaries between gender or morality, a divine beauty so powerful it could shake the very heavens. The boy turns his turquoise blue eyes toward the distant horizon of this endless space, where a massive door looms, reaching up to the sky, and speaks.

His words seem to echo aimlessly, as if speaking to no one in particular, and the mischievous expression on his face fades into one of quiet sorrow.

Somewhere in a hidden base of the Schicksal organization

High Priest Otto, freshly freed from the simulated world, mutters to himself with a sinister grin.

"That kid is interesting. His very existence disrupts everything in that world. Even though it's all a simulation, programmed from the start, he still manages to leave such a profound impact."

Enlightening people? When everything, except my beloved Kallen, is nothing but lowly NPCs that can only function within the established framework?

The fact that they show emotions beyond what was designed… that's what concerns me.

"That kid's existence will be a key piece in my plan. But for now, I'll just keep an eye on him."
