While Ruan Shu was happily playing with her milk tea, Almo pointed to a pair of rabbit ear headbands and deer horn headbands that he wanted.
Originally, each child was only given one headband as a gift. Today, just by standing in line, they attracted a lot of attention from other customers. Consequently, the manager, of course, was not stingy. Not only did he give the two headbands that Almo wanted, but he also threw in an extra wolf ear headband.
Ruan Shu was gazing at the pearls at the bottom of her cup when suddenly she felt something on her head.
The rabbit ear headbands were a milky yellow color, slightly different from her hair, but not drastically so. Her ears were of the soft, drooping kind, hanging down on both sides of her cheeks.
Ruan Shu raised her hand and touched the two rabbit ears, perplexed.
"What is this?" She asked.
Almo took a picture for her and calmly replied, "It's an accessory."
Ruan Shu tried to remove the ears, but Almo stopped her.
"It's your reward for the milk tea," he said.
Ruan Shu pouted; she had money, her dad, her brother, and even her grandpa had given her some. She was quite well-off and could afford to buy milk tea on her own, even if Almo had paid first.
The soft, squishy rice ball looked angry, with its eyes wide open and its cheeks rounded.
But this anger held no power, and with those two rabbit ears, she seemed even more adorable.
Almo's mouth curved upwards as he took several pictures of her.
It was strange; the earrings didn't have the same soft charm on someone else as they did on Ruan Shu. In his star-beast form as a rabbit, he found the ears a bit cumbersome on his head, so he usually tucked them away. But on Ruan Shu, the ears didn't seem out of place at all.
Despite her efforts, Ruan Shu couldn't remove the ears. They had been fitted with a clasp, making them quite secure; one had to press a button on top to take them off.
She struggled with her milk tea in one hand while using her other arm to search for the button. However, she couldn't find it, and her arm began to ache.
She sighed. "It's just ears, no need to get angry."
Taking another sip of her milk tea, she felt her mood improve.
"Ah, sister, I saw an adorable little bunny!" "A voice exclaimed."
Ruan Shu instinctively looked over at the loud voice.
Then the voice started screaming again.
"Wow, her profile is so beautiful, and her face is even more beautiful." "I really want to pinch her cheeks!"
Ruan Shu stepped back a little, thinking she wasn't a bunny; she was a cat, just with two fake rabbit ears.
While she doubted herself, the voice called out once more.
"She's with a handsome guy!" "A handsome and cute pair, what kind of fairy pairing is this!"
Ruan Shu turned to look at the young man behind her and took a deep breath of her milk tea.
She knew the girl was talking about them.
Her pace quickened, and her fair cheeks turned a light shade of pink, resembling a fresh peach.
But the girl must have been quite the social butterfly, as Ruan Shu could hear her even from a distance.
"Her shy look is even cuter!"
Ruan Shu's face grew redder as she stumbled, nearly falling, but was caught by Almo's grip on her collar.
The little girl continued to fidget and take small steps forward.
After a while...
Standing by the city street, Ruan Shu finished her last sip of milk tea, her eyes filled with confusion.
She was lost!
If it weren't for the familiar person behind her, distraught little Ruan Shu might have cried.
Carrying her empty milk tea bottle, Ruan Shu dragged herself to Almo's side and reached out with a small hand to tug at his pants.
Almo looked down at her and joked, "Be careful, if you pull my pants down in public, I'll lose my innocence."
Text: ### Ruan Shu silently withdrew her hand and quietly muttered to herself, "I exerted very little force, just a bit." ###
She didn't want to pull his pants down.
"Tell me, what's the matter?" He asked.
Ruan Shu looked up at him and asked, "Almo, where are we?"
The young man raised an eyebrow with his arms crossed. "You seemed so confident walking ahead, but it turns out you didn't know where you were."
Ruan Shu mumbled, "I've always ridden in my dad and brother's cars, and I don't know the way, so it's normal that I'm lost."
Almo looked at her with a hint of mischief and cunning in his eyes. "Want to go back?"
Ruan Shu nodded.
Upon seeing him take out the two headbands, Ruan Shu hesitated.
Reluctantly, she leaned her head forward, allowing him to replace the rabbit ears on her head with shiny golden deer antlers.
They were the type of tender, immature antlers that had been specially trimmed for children's use.
She still felt as cute as ever despite having no change.
Almo finally stopped taking pictures after numerous shots, satisfied with the result.
Ruan Shu snorted and glared at him in mock anger.
"Bad Almo, why are you so mean?"
But she couldn't actually get mad at him; instead, she allowed him to pinch her cheeks lightly.
Ruan Shu was naive, as Almo always took advantage of her gentle nature.
"Let's go."
This time, Almo took the lead, with Ruan Shu following closely behind.
After an indeterminate amount of time, Ruan Shu's feet began to ache, and she looked pitiful.
A few minutes later, she could no longer walk and didn't want to. In a soft, plaintive voice, she called out to Almo.
The young man turned to look at her. "Tired?"
Ruan Shu nodded wearily.
"Do you want me to carry you?"
"Yes!" the little girl answered without hesitation.
"Okay, then, you'll have to ask me nicely."
"Please," the chubby little girl clasped her hands together and pleaded with her big, watery eyes.
Almo's lips twitched as he opened his arms and crouched down.
"Come here."
Ruan Shu's eyes lit up as she ran over to him, jumping into his arms and refusing to let go.
She wiggled her feet and smiled contentedly.
Almo pinched her little nose. "You're so silly." "Why didn't you ask me earlier?"
The little girl let out a soft hum, indicating that she also possessed integrity.
Although her integrity didn't last long.
