The morning was unusually calm in our guild camp. Birds chirped merrily, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the atmosphere was one of rare peace. Even the most battle-hardened members of our guild took a moment to relax. Raven and I, who were usually in the midst of planning our next move or dealing with a crisis, found ourselves with a rare moment to breathe.
"Is it just me, or does it feel like the calm before the storm?" Raven said, stretching her arms and looking around the camp.
I smirked. "Knowing our luck, the storm is probably just around the corner."
As if on cue, a scout came running towards us, breathless and wide-eyed. "Commander Jade, there are visitors approaching the camp."
"Visitors? We don't get many of those," I replied, raising an eyebrow. "Let's go see who's brave or foolish enough to come knocking."
