Time passed quickly, and soon it was night. Dinner was over, and now Raven and I were in my room, ready to settle in for the evening. We had both showered and changed into comfortable pajamas. Raven was wearing one of mine, and I couldn't help but find her adorable.
"I have a feeling if this continues, you'll practically be living here," I joked, glancing at her.
Raven, however, responded with a seriousness that caught me off guard. "You know, I wouldn't mind living here. It's definitely better than being at my place. Actually, as soon as I turn 18, I'm leaving my family."
Her statement resonated with the weight of her conviction. Eighteen was, after all, the age of majority in this world.
"Don't worry. By then, my moms and I will be more than ready to welcome you without any problem," I assured her, offering a warm smile.
