Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

I looked at the skill I had gotten from who I presume was the creator. They were the language skill, and a dungeon creation and escape skill. Things I could very well use right now, after all, who would be a hammer without these skills. Now my journey will truely begin as a gamer.

'Two weeks. I have two weeks to grind as hard as I can. After those two weeks are gone, so does a third of my grinding time, a training can be like a snowball, it builds up. So I need to use this time as best as I can. I will not leave things to chance or luck, there is always a chance a demon shows up and kills me, or a monster pops up from nowhere and eats me. I can't leave my fate in the hands of others.'

"Instand Dungeon Creation." I said, as I did a system screen appeared.

[ Zombie ]

"Zombie." I said. As I did a portal appeared and started to suck me in, before I could do anything I was already half way in the portal and was falling out by now.

I then fell to the ground. I forced my body up, feeling nothing wrong with my body. I then looked around, it was a city. A very large one at that. The buildings I was near were probably at least twenty or so floors tall. The sides and chunks of them were scattered across the roads and pathways. The sky was a dark orange and was covered by clouds that were of a lighter orange.

Then the system showed up while I was looking around.

[ You have received a Quest ]

[ Quest: Dungeon Tutorial

Introduction: Instant Dungeons are dungeons created by the skill Instant Dungeon Creation. They hold a large variety of monsters within them depending on the type of dungeon you are in. These dungeon can have elite monsters or can inflict environmental effects as well.

When a monster is killed, they give the killer EXP. They can also drop loot upon death. They can also drop skill books and tickets, but these are rather rare.

Each dungeon has at least five floors, each floor having a boss that guards the gateway to the next.

Treasure is scattered across the floor, hiding in places you might not know. The stronger the monsters on the floor, the better the items found in the treasures.

To escape, use Dungeon Escape.

Objective: Kill the floor boss: Athletic Zombie.

Reward: 1000 EXP, Normal Bow, Normal Quiver, Normal arrows 50x ]

As I finished reading the quest I heard groaning noises. They came to the left of me. I looked to the side and found a small horde of zombies. They were marching my way, I could tell it was a crowd and I was not making it to the next floor if I just rushed in. So I did what I knew was best for the current situation, I ran.

I was running towards a building that looked like an apartment building. I ran to the door and my face paled in terror as I tried to open the door and found that it was locked. I tried to use more force but it didn't work. I then looked around and found the solution. And maybe a better one too. I ran to the side and took a rock from a nearby tree. Not sure why that was there, but it was so I would use it.

I then ran to the first floor balcony and climbed on top of the fence that covered the area. I then jumped from it to the second floor balcony. I then pulled myself up and into the balcony. I then looked into the apartment room and found nothing of worth.

I then got into the fence and jumped to the next floor. After pulling myself up, I looked at the room and nothing. So I did it again. Getting to the fifth floor before I found something of worth. A large metal bat, for some reason was in their room. I took the rock and smashed it into the glass door. I then walked into the room and took the bat. As I was going to leave I found something divine. A treasure chess. I went to it and opened it up. I found a book inside of it. I opened it up and tried to use the system to observe it. It was an old looking book, with fine golden lining the edges and carved to look like leaves it would seem. It was thick, around the size of a hand and it seemed to be made of old paper.

[ Skill Learned: Observe:

"A very good skill to have, kinda thought I automatically have it. Anyways." I said, I then used this skill on the book.

[ Skill Book: Treasure Hunter

Allows the user to see an outline of something of value over a set amount in the dungeon.

"Use the skill book." I said, as I did the book started to turn into light particles before entering my body.

As it did, I suddenly found a few items with outlines. First of all was a set of darts. They were hidden in the back of the room where the sun didn't shine. Another thing was the jacket in the house, they looked normal to me, but since the system thinks other wise I used Observe.

[ Hard Leather Jacket

A jacket made from extremely hard leather. It is thick and lightweight. Flexible and durable. Extremely useful in a zombie apocalypse.

- 10 bite damage

- 4 physical damage

"This is going to be very useful. If the stats on it stack up with each other, then the zombies will deal forteen damage less." I said to myself. This was a very useful item when used, that is if the zombies aren't OP.

I am pretty sure I am ready for battle now. But just to be sure, I looked over the side and then I saw the small horde of zombies still waiting for me. My had was deadpanned. I went back inside and after looking at the room I found something that could work.
