"Come." The man called for Wen Zhu again.
"I hear nothing, I hear nothing..." Wen Zhu covered her ears, muttering softly, resolutely refusing to look back at that bad guy, and desperately convincing herself, "I don't want to eat, I'm not hungry, I don't want to eat, I don't want to eat..."
Although he kept saying he didn't want to eat, he began to feel that the aroma of grilled fish was getting closer and closer to him, and his saliva was about to flow out unconsciously.
Wen Zhu hasn't eaten enough for a long time, let alone seeing greasy and smelly food. If it weren't for really hating this man, he wouldn't be so desperate.
He knew that there was a river not far away, and he would go there to take a bath when the weather was good. While bathing, he often saw small fish swiftly shuttling back and forth in the water, but Wenzhu could not catch them.
Don't know how this man caught the small fish, Wen Zhu thought, if only he could catch fish by himself.
"Still stubborn as before." The man's voice suddenly sounded very close to Wen Zhu, startling him to turn around abruptly.
As soon as he turned around, he saw two small fish being grilled to a delicious fragrance and impaled on wooden sticks, placed straight in front of his eyes.
Wen Zhu's mouth was slightly open, saliva almost spilling out. He wiped his mouth with his hand, took the grilled fish, and forgot to hold a grudge, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Thank you," he said.
The man seemed to have not expected that Wen Zhu, although silly, was quite polite. He pat the dust off his clothes and somewhat impatiently said, "There are some more."
"Mm...uh..." Wen Zhu was nibbling on grilled fish, just about to say thank you again, but unexpectedly got a fish bone stuck in his throat. He couldn't cough it out or swallow it, and the pain made his eyes turn red.
"What?" The man didn't know what it meant to have a mournful face. He was about to say something harsh, but suddenly realized that the fool had been stuck by a fish bone, couldn't help but speechless.
"Come over here." the man said to him again.
Wen Zhu reached his hand into his mouth, trying to dig out the fish bone, but instead was stimulated to retch for a while and didn't even hear the man calling him.
"I said, come over!" The man furrowed his brows, pulled him over, and fiercely clamped down on the little paw that was still trying to reach his mouth. One hand caressed his throat, as if he was choking him, but he did not use any force.
After a while, he let go of his hand and said, "Okay."
Wen Zhu swallowed a mouthful of saliva and found that his throat was no longer sore!
The fishbone problem has just been resolved, and he immediately forgot about the scar and pain, eagerly started to gnaw on the grilled fish..he was really hungry for a long time.
But he didn't expect that the man would grab his two fish, leaving only a wenzhu that looked like a fish with its mouth open, the corners of his mouth turned down, revealing a look of grievance.
How can this person be so annoying! Why does he still want to snatch the fish back!
"I'm not competing with you!" The man, seeing him like this, knew that this fool must be cursing himself in his heart. His tone was even colder, "You fool, you don't even know how to eat fish. Let me help you remove the fishbone!"
He spoke while placing his hand an inch away from the grilled fish, applying a gentle force before returning it to Wen Zhu, saying: "Eat, there are no more bones."
Wen Zhu took the grilled fish dumbly, took a bite, and smiled, "There are really no bones!"
"You are amazing!" he said, happily eating and laughing at the man.
The man was faced with this dirty yet straightforward smiling face, seeming unable to look directly at it, and he looked away.
"What a fool," he sighed.
