Ankoku's hand instinctively went to the hilt of his sword, yet, there was no sword on his hip, a cautious wariness settling over him. But as the demi-human approached, their movements cautious yet not hostile, Ankoku sensed no immediate threat. Instead, there was an air of intensity and urgency as if they bore news of great importance.
"You are the one they call Ankoku?"
the demi-human spoke, their voice low and gravelly.
Ankoku nodded, wariness giving way to curiosity.
"And who might you be then?"
"I am Godrick, Guardian of the Leer"
the demi-human replied, their gaze unwavering.
"I have been watching you, Ankoku, and I believe our paths are destined to intertwine."
Ankoku's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but before he could question further, Godrick extended a hand, palm upturned in a gesture as if asking for peace.
"Your journey is far from over, but you do not walk it alone."
Godrick said solemnly.
"I offer you my guidance, if you will accept it. This will not be pleasant for you. It will hurt you and make you more numb the more you collect from what I am planning to show you."
With a mixture of uncertainty and newfound resolve, Ankoku hesitated for only a moment before clasping Godricks outstretched hand. In that fleeting moment, an unspoken bond formed between them, forged by the trials of the past and the challenges yet to come. Memories began to flood into Ankoku's mind, memories of which aren't his, grueling wars, men dying, children screaming, villages burning and monsters roaring, with shouts of pain and the sight of blood.
"We will meet once again. This I promise."
Godricks voice bellows gruffly as he fades away out of nowhere
"What the hell are ya even doing, ignoring me?"
A young woman's voice yells loudly as Ankoku gets hit over the head and falls to his knees seeing the woman from earlier.
He kneels there confused at what he just witnessed and the fact he disappeared and she was here this whole time.
