Hito seeing that the knight had been destroyed, quickly ran to his sister.
'Is she ignoring me?' wondered the angel when he saw what the human was doing.
Hito started to pull his sister out of the rubble. Unfortunately, she was already unconscious.
The angel approached him as he watched them and asked, "Aren't you afraid of me?"
Hito continued to call out to his sister, "Aris please hold on." Then, turning to look at the angel and agitated, he asked, "She is my sister, you can heal her, can't you?"
"Soon more guardians like the previous one will arrive and probably stronger." Replied the angel.
Hito laid his little sister down on firm ground and said in a strained and somber voice, "Damn, I didn't ask that..." then began to search through the rubble. He began to wrap his hand with a bandage he had found and then picked up the sharp metal blade that had previously detached from its handle.
'Protecting a loved one is forcing him to fight. Interesting...' Thought the angel and then continued, "You know you'll die, right?"
"I don't care." Hito replied.
The angel, smiled slightly and said, "Alright, I'll protect her. However, first you will have to accept my conditions."
At that moment, his little sister's life hung in the balance, causing Hito to not hesitate for a second to accept the angel's conditions without first listening to them.
After Hito nodded his face, the angel smiled slightly and extended his arm towards them.
Thousands of roots began to fall from the angel's hands to the ground, then began to spread across the floor. When Hito saw that the roots were approaching them, he wrapped his little sister in his arms. Then, the roots began to wrap around them and grow between them, to the point of separating them.
Aris' wounds began to heal slowly, while a reddish glow could be seen in Hito's eyes.
In Hito's eyes, letters began to appear.

However, he decided not to give it any importance at that moment. Afterwards, he asked, "Why are you helping us?"
"To illustrate as a human example, have you ever helped a bee that can't fly? It's exactly the same." replied the angel and then continued, "Now you answer, you're not afraid of us, are you?"
"If you wanted to kill us, I'm sure you would have done it while removing the debris." Hito replied.
Suddenly, three guards fell from the sky, shattering the ground as they landed. A few seconds later, they were joined by a fourth being.
At first glance, the fourth being looked like a normal person, wearing a dark cloak, a hood with ancient symbols, light armor and knives on his belt.
Without saying a word, this fourth being attacked the three guards consecutively from behind, destroying them with one blow of his dagger. Next he said, "Damn witch, I told you I didn't need your help." Then, he observed the angel along with Hito and his sister. Next, he asked, "What the hell are you doing?"
"Who is he?" Hito asked the angel as he stood up.
"Judging by his attire, he is an assassin and he has been sent after me." Replied the angel.
"I see, how will we defeat him?" asked Hito with a serious tone of voice.
The angel's eyes widened slightly, Hito's reaction had surprised him, he didn't really show fear.
The angel answered calmly, "Earlier, I not only healed your sister's and your wounds. I gave you both special abilities. Now, your bodies are more resistant-" Before the angel could finish speaking, the assassin suddenly appeared in front of him and before attacking, he said while smiling, "Don't ignore me, it's disrespectful." Next, he attempted to stab one of his daggers into the angel's head. But before that, Hito appeared next to the assassin, to cut him horizontally with the knife blade.
The assassin managed to mitigate the blow of the blade with one of his arms, causing the blade to break completely. Then, he began to laugh, turned to look at the angel and said, "Damn, you really did it."
Then, the assassin turned his gaze to Hito, saved each of his daggers and said, "Alright, show me what a human can do."
At that moment, Hito's sister was waking up. At first glance, she did not understand what was happening, but she could see that her brother was on guard against the assassin.
"Hito, what are you doing?" asked Aris in a weak voice.
Hito turned to look at his sister, and a small gesture of relief formed on his face.
After Hito blinked only once, the assassin appeared at his side and struck him sideways, causing him to shoot out into the trees, knocking down all in his path.
"Please help him!" the little sister shouted to the angel beside her.
The mysterious assassin began to walk slowly toward Hito, trudging through the dust and debris.
The angel seeing the sister's reaction, asked her, "Why are you worried?"
"My brother cannot defend himself." Replied the sister while still continuing through the roots.
The angel did not understand the girl's words and replied, "Maybe your brother has not told you yet, but he being a human, he is capable of eliminating other creatures that have invaded this world."
At that moment, the girl could not believe what that unknown being told her, 'My brother, is he able to eliminate those creatures?' After that, a flashback flashed through her mind.
One year ago
Aris was standing next to his brother in the shelter eating rabbit meat and fresh fruit.
"It's delicious, isn't it?" asked Hito.
"Yes, it's amazing that this place provides us, all this food. We were really lucky." She replied. Then, a look of sadness formed on her face and she asked, "It's strange, isn't it? We've been here four years and we still haven't seen any trace of them."
Hito smiled happily and said, "Possibly, the spirits of the forest are protecting us."

Returning to the present, Aris continued in thought, 'I knew he was hiding something from me, but I never thought he hunted the beasts that entered the forest.'
When the assassin reached the last felled tree, the dust was still clouding the view.
"You're good at hiding, but-" Before the assassin could finish speaking, a surprising amount of logs appeared from all directions, speeding towards him.
The assassin began to easily dodge the logs and as he did so, he arrogantly said, "If you plan to beat me with that, I recommend you let me assassinate you at once."
When the assassin was about to dodge the last log, Hito appeared from the opposite side, to hit him directly on the side of the face.
The assassin upon receiving the blow was thrown with force diagonally towards the ground, spinning far away while the friction reduced the force with which he had been thrown.
Then, he stood up and noticed that one side of his lips was bleeding and said, "I must admit that I thought your hands would be destroyed when you attacked me." Then, the assassin wiped the blood with one of his fingers and then licked it off, then continued, "But, I see that you are different now."
After that, he looked at the angel and with a serious face said, "Roots with wings, you're having fun aren't you?"
Then, the assassin looked at the little girl that was among the roots, without moving his head, he directed his eyes to Hito and without warning, he took out one of his daggers and threw it directly towards the little girl.
When the dagger was approaching Aris with speed, a root quickly grew and extended towards the back of the dagger, to wrap it in roots and stop its trajectory.
At that precise moment, Hito quickly appeared near the ruthless assassin and shouted, "Damn you!"
In an instant, the assassin quickly disappeared and said, "I was beginning to think you couldn't talk."
