Chapter 91 - 91. Real Scheme

A strategy meeting is held before the raid as usual. They will raid the dungeon on the 3rd day since it appeared and the meeting is on the 2nd day. Only the National Level Hunters and Jin Woo are coming to the meeting because they'll be the only ones to enter the dungeon.

"What?! You've entered the dungeon?"

Everyone is surprised when Indra suddenly says he has entered the S-Rank dungeon.

"Yeah, I was trying to see if it was blocked or not. So I took that chance to enter the dungeon briefly to see the interior."

"..... So what did you find?"

"It is a cave-type dungeon, but it's bigger than any cave dungeon I've ever seen. The monsters are Giants. I don't know their total number, but I saw 2 near the entrance. The magic power I felt from each of them is around 3 times higher than the normal Ice Yetis I fought in Australia."

"Hmm, even if that's the case, for this dungeon to leak magic power even greater than Kamish's dungeon, that means there are many of them inside. The number of those Giants must be high." Reed says it while rubbing his chin.

"I think so too. But there's a more dangerous possibility. What if there aren't that many Giants, but the boss is just too strong? If that's the case, then we will be facing another Kamish-level monster or even stronger."

All of them agree that it's a possible scenario. Either way, they agree with Indra that this dungeon will be more dangerous than Kamish's dungeon.

They have seen the Gate and although their magic sensitivities aren't as high as Indra, all of them still can sense that it is leaking much more magic power than Kamish's dungeon.

Every one of them still remembers the feeling of danger they felt on their bodies when they stood in front of Kamish's Gate.

That feeling was already terrifying, but this Gate gives an even more dangerous feeling to them, the current them who are much more experienced and have polished their skills.

"I believe now you understand that this dungeon raid will be the most dangerous raid mankind has ever done since the world changed. If we fail here, then no one will be able to stop these monsters and the future S-Rank Gates, so we need to succeed no matter what."

No one says or does anything, but they all agree with Indra. If something like Kamish really does come out of that Gate because they fail, then they don't know who can stop it or how many need to die before it gets stopped.

"I can't guarantee that even your best equipment will hold against those Giants. That's why I asked you to bring some sets. If some of those sets don't have my Rune Magic, then I'll engrave them today. Tomorrow, Jin Woo will bring all of our spare equipment in his spatial storage. If your equipment breaks, then quickly retreat to get the spares from Jin Woo. I will cover you all with my barrier if needed."

Everyone nods as they agree with Indra. If the boss really is as strong or even stronger than Kamish, then even their best equipment made by Moon Rabbit and enchanted by Indra's Rune Magic might still break.

So they need to bring spare equipment just in case their main equipment breaks. Though if the monsters really were strong enough to break their main equipment, then the spares would break sooner or later as well.

Their meeting ends a while after that, but Indra asks Jin Woo to stay behind using Jin Woo's task as a porter as an excuse while he wants to talk about something else.

"Is this your plan?" Indra asks Jin Woo after everyone leaves. He even erects a soundproof barrier to prevent their conversation from leaking outside.

"What do you mean?" Jin Woo asks while grinning.

"This dungeon of Giants, it should be the one that would appear in Tokyo, right? The one with a captured Monarch inside. I've explored the dungeon using my clones. They used stealth and managed to sneak into the boss room. Though they didn't find the Monarch of Giants, they found a massive Giant that dwarfs other Giants. I assume it were the Gatekeeper that guarded Tokyo's S-Rank Gate. Am I right?"

Jin Woo smiles as he answers, "Yeah, that's right. This is the Gate that should appear in Tokyo in the 10th year since Gates appears."

Jin Woo then explains that to increase mankind's sense of crisis, they need to show a very dangerous dungeon, even more dangerous than the one they believe to be the most dangerous, Kamish's dungeon.

"And you just need to spawn it in my place?"

"The location is pure coincidence. When spawning Gates, we never know where they'll appear. The most we can do is make the Gate accessible or not."

"..... You just want to spawn it in my place because you want me to handle this seriously." Indra knows that Jin Woo is lying about the Gates just spawning randomly.

It may be the case for the low rank Gates, but they surely can choose the locations to spawn the S-Rank Gates.

"Hahaha, busted, huh? Well, we spawn it here because we know you need more authority in your country."

Indra already has great authority in his country as a National Level Hunter. But there are still things he can't do, especially when it comes to dealing with politics.

The money-thirsty politicians always make a lot of things difficult for many Hunters. Indra wants to help the Hunters because they will be needed for the Earth's future.

He goes around the world almost every day to awaken Hunters with great potentials. But his own country's politicians are making things difficult for Hunters just to fill their bellies.

It's hard for him to clean those trash, so this really is a good opportunity. Even when the Gate has just appeared, he can show those rats' true faces to the public already.

"Starting with your country, we can influence other countries to clean themselves too. Even in this dangerous time, there are still many people who only care about their pockets. For the war, even 1 E-Rank Hunter is valuable because they can help us kill more monsters, even if it's just 1. Even normal people can help us if they are willing. That's why you made those Magic Guns, right? But those people are suppressed by selfish bitches who don't even care if people are dying protecting them from monsters. I would want to just rip them apart, but it will just make people's trust gone. We need to bring the people to our side, after all, so we can't just kill them."

Indra is quite dumbfounded seeing Jin Woo's infuriated expression. Well, he understands how Jin Woo feels because he also feels the same.

"Their selfishness has caused a lot of people to die while we are trying to save as many people as we can, so this is truly infuriating."

"Sigh, alright, alright. Let's get back to the main topic. There must be something else that you want from spawning this Gate here, right?"

"Hmm, it's not why we spawn it here, but why we spawn this particular Gate now."

Jin Woo then tells Indra his intention which makes Indra widen his eyes in disbelief.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah, that's why I need your cooperation to make this succeed. This is very risky, but I know you can pull it off."

"This is a crazy plan."

"But it's necessary. As long as we are there, then no one will die."

"... Fine. I doubt we'll even need to do it like that with those enemies, but I'll keep it in mind."

Indra and Jin Woo are planning something for this raid without the others' knowledge. Not even Il Hwan and Dewi who know about the Monarchs and the incoming war are told about this.

Even Ragnar who has become Odin's vessel is told either. It's because the less people who know about this plan, the better it is for this plan to run smoothly.

But to avoid any accidents for their plan, they need to do more preparations. The other National Level Hunters also prepare themselves as best as they can for the raid.

Then the next day, on the 3rd day, the 5th S-Rank dungeon raid finally starts.
