'Jason?!'
I thought to myself once I saw his face more clearly. Why is he here? And why is he holding my arm?
"Let go of me". I said as I tried breaking free from his grasp.
"Come on. Let's talk". He said with a slurred voice, putting more emphasis on ' talk'. I could tell he was intoxicated as I tried to break free.
"I said leave me me alone!" I yelled as I pushed him away. He fell to the ground with a thud. "And don't ever try bothering me again". I said before I began making my way out of the alleyway. I felt his hand on my arm again as he pulled me back. I fell back and hit my head on the ground. I tried sitting up straight and rubbing my forehead to ease the headache I felt when I felt him take hold of both my wrists and pin me to the ground.
"Ahh! Let go of me!" I yelled as I was about to kick him of off me, but before I could do anything, he held both my wrists with one hand and covered my mouth with the other.
"You want to escape? You can't escape from me". He said as he straddled my waist.
I felt my heart rate began to rise as I struggled to break free. Was I really trapped? Was there really no way out?
"Stop moving". He said as he tried to keep my wrists firm to the ground, bruising them in the process.
I could feel my heartbeat rise as he began ripping my dress apart. I screamed and kicked but he only pinned me down harder.
Everywhere around us was dark. I could barely see anything or anybody. I was... trapped.
I could feel my arms getting weaker and my throat dryer as he spread my legs further apart.
I closed my eyes and let the tears I'd been holding back roll down my cheeks. He let go of my wrists and moved on to to pinning me down by my forearm.
I could feel the cold breeze washing past my legs as a shiver ran down my spine. My head felt heavy and my eyes weak.
He ripped off my underwear, and pushed himself inside me. I screamed and begged for him to stop, but he just continued faster and faster.
I screamed and used the little energy I had left to try and break free from his grasp but to no avail, he tightened his grip and continued moving further inside me. I could only close my eyes and let the tears stream down ...

Natasha's POV
*An hour later*
I packed up all my things and turned off the lights I'm both the kitchen and café before switching the sign on the door and leaving.
I checked the time on my watch, it was a bit later than usual. I wonder if Laila has reached home by now?
I thought to myself before reaching into my purse for my phone. I dailed her number as I stopped by an alleyway.
*ring, ring, ring*
I heard a phone ringing not too far away. I looked around me, but there was no one around, so where could the sound of a ringtone be coming from?
The call ended without her answering. I wanted to call again, or maybe text, when I heard a faint breathing sound. I slowly turned around to the dark alleyway. Was someone behind me? I took a deep breath before turning on my flashlight, only to see someone laying on the ground in the alleyway.
I rushed towards the person, placed my things on the ground and turned the person's face to look at me...
*Laila!*
I thought to myself once I saw the person's face.
I brought her up to a sitting position as I felt her forehead. She was freezing . She looked weak , like as though she'd been there for a long time.
"Laila, don't worry, you'll be alright. I'll just get your phone". I said as I got up with my phone in hand, searching the ground for her purse or phone. I paused when I saw something that looked like her purse, picked it up and started rummaging inside for her phone.
"Found it!" I said as I pulled it out of the purse and dialed Kareem's number. I waited for him to pick up as I knelt down to warm her up. That was when I saw her wrists...
"Uhmm, hello. Is this Kareem". I said once he'd picked up the call, my eyes still glued to her wrists, they were badly bruised. And there were even some scratches at the back of her hand.
"I'm sorry, who is this?" He said as I hugged her, rubbing her back slowly.
"This is Natasha speaking. I am, Laila's friend". I said as I sat down for a minute, the cold outside was unbearable as wave of cold wind brushed past us. I wondered how Laila felt.
"And why are you with her phone, anyways, I want to speak to Laila". He sounded furious, I wonder why he was so angry?
"Uhm, Laila is currently not in the condition to speak to you. Anyways, can you like, come to the alleyway a few blocks away from Everbrew's Café. Please, it's urgent". I said as I shivered a bit. Laila felt so numb, she could barely move.
"What happened to her, is she okay?"
"No. Just come quickly ". I said and almost immediately, he cut the call.
I picked my things up from the ground and put Laila's phone back in her purse. It didn't take too long for Kareem to arrive.
When he saw Laila's condition, he froze for a second before rushing back into his car and coming back out with a shawl.
He used it to wrap over Laila's shoulders before slowly leading her back into his car.
"Thank you". He paused to say before starting his car and driving off.
I stood there and watched as the car drove off, still thinking about what could have happened to her. What could have possibly happened that'd cause bruises all over her wrists and arms and for her dress to be torn and ripped apart?
Who was the culprit?
