High School Love Story: "Whispers of the Heart" - Episode 5: The Family Drama
Episode 5: Brothers and Boyfriends
The next morning, Emily woke up with a mix of excitement and dread. The kiss with Jimin was still fresh in her mind, making her smile like an idiot every time she thought about it. But then there was Yoongi. Her overprotective older brother wasn't exactly the type to stay out of her personal life. He had already seen the kiss, and knowing him, he wasn't going to let it slide without saying something.
At breakfast, Yoongi sat across the table, sipping his coffee in silence. His expression was unreadable, but Emily could feel his gaze on her every few seconds. Jin, Yoongi's best friend and their senior, walked in moments later, smirking as he joined the table.
"So," Jin began, sliding into the seat next to Yoongi, "I hear someone had a moment yesterday."
Emily choked on her toast, her face instantly turning red. "Jin! Don't start."
Yoongi set his coffee mug down, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, don't mind him, Emily. I was actually planning to talk to you about it. You know, about Jimin."
Emily groaned. "Oppa, it's not a big deal. Jimin and I like each other. That's all."
Yoongi leaned back in his chair, his lips curving into a faint smirk. "Not a big deal? You're my little sister, Emily. I need to make sure this guy is good enough for you."
"Good enough for her?" Jin teased, nudging Yoongi. "What are you going to do, give him an exam? Jimin's a good kid. Relax."
Emily sighed, hoping the topic would end there, but Yoongi wasn't finished. "I'm serious, Emily. If he ever hurts you—"
"He won't!" Emily snapped, her cheeks burning. "Jimin is sweet, and he likes me. You don't need to act like a scary older brother."
Jin chuckled, clearly enjoying the scene. "I mean, you can't blame him, Emily. If I had a little sister, I'd be protective too. But come on, Yoongi, don't scare the poor guy."
Yoongi shrugged, but there was a faint hint of a smile on his face. "Fine, I'll give him a chance. But if he messes up—"
"Yoongi!" Emily cut him off, glaring.

Later That Day: The Double Date Disaster
To Emily's dismay, Jin and Yoongi decided to make things more complicated. When she and Jimin planned to grab lunch after school, Yoongi and Jin invited themselves along. Jimin looked terrified as he sat across from Yoongi at the café, trying his best to stay calm.
"So, Jimin," Yoongi began, leaning forward, "how long have you liked Emily?"
Jimin froze, his cheeks flushing. "Uh… a while," he admitted, glancing nervously at Emily.
"And what are your intentions with my sister?" Yoongi continued, his tone serious.
Jin, barely holding back laughter, nudged Yoongi. "Ease up, man. You're not her dad."
Emily groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Oppa, stop! This is embarrassing."
Jimin, to his credit, mustered up his courage. "I care about Emily a lot. I just want to make her happy."
Yoongi studied him for a moment, then nodded. "Good answer. Just remember what I said—if you hurt her, you'll answer to me."
Jimin gulped but nodded. "Understood."
After the interrogation ended, the group's tension eased, and Jin quickly shifted the conversation to something lighter. By the end of lunch, even Yoongi seemed a little more relaxed.

Meanwhile: Misha's Mischief
While Emily and Jimin were busy with their awkward double date, Misha had her own plans. She cornered J-hope after class, determined to confess her feelings.
"Hey, J-hope," Misha began, trying to act casual. "I was wondering… do you want to grab a snack or something after school?"
J-hope, oblivious as always, grinned. "Sure! Are the others coming too?"
Misha sighed, her plan of turning it into a romantic moment crumbling. "No, I meant just the two of us."
J-hope blinked, confused, but then realization dawned on him. "Wait… like a date?"
Misha's face turned red. "Maybe. If you want it to be."
J-hope's usual grin softened into something sweeter. "I'd like that."
For once, Misha was left speechless.

The Aftermath
That evening, Emily texted Jimin after their chaotic lunch.
Emily: Sorry about my brother. He's… intense.
Jimin: It's okay. I get it. He's just looking out for you.
Emily: Still… I hope you're not scared off.
Jimin: Not a chance. :)
Emily smiled at her phone, her heart feeling lighter. Despite the teasing, the drama, and Yoongi's protective streak, she felt happier than she had in a long time. Jimin was worth it.
