The next morning,
I twisted and turned on the bed and then opened my eyes and got hit by the light from the window curtains which were wide open.
"Uhmmmm."l yawned stretching up my arms and then got up from the bed and looked around.
At that moment, a memory hit my head so bad. I saw myself sitting on the bed with someone beside me and he then suddenly leans in and kiss me. I raised up my hand and then touched on my lips, rewinding the scene as if it just happened.
Honestly getting out of the bed on this day is really taking me so much effort. After sometime l got up from the bed and wore my slippers and headed to the bathroom but on my way there l felt a sharp pain near my ribs but told my self that it was just a normal stomach ache.
I finished preparing myself and then headed to the dining room, and saw that they were all present for breakfast but except for the two older ones.
"Good morning sis?"the twins greeted and l smiled to them.
Long story short the breakfast ended and then l went to work in the restaurant, when l got there. The others had already started so l blended. But during my break when l went to sit in the corner side of the restaurant. Someone came and sat Infront of me.
"Alex?"l said.
"Hi, how are you doing?"he asked
"Ohh, am great and how about? Aren't you going to work today?" I asked with a feeling of anxiety inside my chest which l didn't know was caused by what.
"Not actually my co workers are the one working on the project. Are you on a break?"he asked looking around.
"Yeah l am."l replied shortly.
"Okay l see. Uhm l was wondering if we could go out sometime. If it's okay with you?"he said looking so unsure.
And as for me, l was over the moon because he was actually asking me out. But wait isn't this too fast l mean we barely know each other but here he is asking me out on a date. Maybe l have to first play hard to get besides if he is really that into me he will be patient with me.
"Uhm, l think that's not gonna work out. I had other plans for tonight. Am sorry." And just like that l landed the cup of coffee l was drinking and then got up to leave.
Literally inside my head l was screaming at myself on what the hell l just did,was l really turning down his offer like this.
