"Sit down." the voice loud enough to command her and she surrendered to his urging. The bed met her. It felt softer than before, asking her to sleep in the dark. Like the hand of a trusted friend that offered her security that was never there. The winds sang a lullaby for her. But his grip on her shoulders started to tighten.
