Chapter 91 - Chapter 91 Extinct.

The A.I's jumped into their designated systems all at once and they made use of the fact that they didn't have any organics onboard to jump as near to their targets as they could without destroying or damaging the ships.

The next moment after the jump, all the ships opened fire on any fleet or defense systems that they had in range of their weapons.

Planets were also targeted and many rounds from MAC's bombarded the ground targets, also the space stations and any other installations that they could target.

The sudden arrival of the Terran ships caught the aliens by surprise and before they managed to do anything, they already lost many ships and many more were damaged since their shields were down.

The chaos was indescribable as the alliance fleets were decimated and their own home worlds were bombarded from space by Terrans who had barely fifty ships at their disposal.

The A.I's didn't forget to send the messages that the three admirals recorded and they did their best to achieve the main objective of this mission.

They used the chaos to their advantage and blasted a hole in the enemy's defense systems which they used to get as close to the planets as they could.

When they achieved as much destruction as they could, the A.I's set the collision course with the planets and space stations after which they evacuated through the relays that they dropped earlier.

To make it more difficult to track them all the relays were set to crush into the star of the system which they occupied once the A.I managed to escape.

The destruction was awe inspiring to say the least as all of the humanity survivors watched the attack in almost real time.

There were cheers heard onboard all of the ships in the Terran fleet as they managed to avenge their people at least a little.

Six of the seven targets suffered heavy damage to their fleets and their home planets suffered many hits from the Terran ships.

Most of the fifty ships in every fleet survived long enough to collide with a planet and the explosions they caused were spectacular.

The only target that suffered less than the others was the Elani home world.

As their fleet was on standby and ready since they suspected that Humans might attack them in retaliation for their betrayal.

The Terran ships jumping in without any warning and so close to the planet shocked the Elani but they suffered less casualties as their fleet had their shields up.

THe Elani fleet did their best but they lacked the fire power to fight head on with the Human ships.

In the end they managed to destroy or heavily damage twenty one ships, before they had to watch in horror as the rest of the Terran fleet bombarded their Capital world and then crashed into it and the damaged ships self-destructed in some cases they managed to take down some of the Elani fleet with them.

The devastation was immense and even the Elani who managed to minimize the damage lost over half of their fleet and almost 40% of the population of their home world as the ships targeted specifically the most populated regions.

Under the orders of Admiral Black, the Imperial palace was spared.

This wasn't any form of mercy that Simon showed to the Elani empress and her family.

He wanted them to see the results of their actions and to witness the death of their people with their own eyes.

The most surprised were the Urakari as they never suspected an attack on their world and as a result they suffered the heaviest damage as one of the Terran cruisers landed inside of one of their hive cities and detonated wiping the city of the map and killing hundreds of millions of their people in an instant along with one of their queens.

The mission was a total success as every species that was attacked thought that this was the humans last effort to take them down with them.

In the meantime all of the A.I's returned safely to the fleet and the moment they were retrieved the fleet jumped away in the direction of the Humanity's new home.

The alliance and the federation confirmed that there were 350 ships in total that took part in the attack and the remaining fifty ships were probably dismantled and used to repair the ships meant to attack them.

In other words this was the end of humanity and even if they managed to inflict heavy damage upon seven species that took part in the destruction of the Sol system.

Ultimately the humans lost and were now if not extinct then very close to that state and without any chance of rebuilding their civilization.

Liara witnessed the attack on her world and grieved for the losses that her people had suffered.

She also understood that Simon spared her palace to make her see humanity's revenge.

This was something worse for her than death itself as her people had to suffer for her decisions.

The empress didn't even want to know what Alesia would do when she woke up and heard that the humans were now extinct and that the man she loved rammed his ship into a space station right before it detonated and vaporized both the ship and most of the station.

She was sure that Simon was leading this suicide attack as he most likely wanted to inflict the most suffering that he could on the people that betrayed him.

-In the end the choice I made was the correct one.

Even if we suffered many casualties, rebuilding the fleet would take years without human technology.

The Elani survived and humanity fell.

She said aloud but there was no one around to hear what she said.

Simon's plan worked better than he thought and in this part of the galaxy the humans were regarded as extinct species.

There was no one that even suspected what was really going on, especially when it was discovered that the ships were full of explosives and ammunition which explained why they didn't find any human remains.

Everyone thought that they were vaporized along with their ships.

A few years later humanity was all but forgotten and only a few species even remembered that such a race ever existed.

That was the best outcome that the humans could have wished for but they didn't know that the plan was way more successful than they had predicted.

The journey to the Confederation space went by peacefully and Simon along with his friends used the time to plan for the future.

They had a lot of work ahead of them and the focus of their plans was on rebuilding the human race as well as the lizardmen.

They also analyzed what went wrong with the council and why they ended up like this.

The answer was simple.

They made a mistake by revealing themselves before they were ready which resulted in lack of time to build a powerful enough fleet that would be able to go head to head with their enemies.

This time around they would use the time that they now had to slowly rebuild and make sure that no one knew about them before they were ready to reveal themselves.
