VALENCIA'S POV
I looked at him wide-eyed. His dark hazel eyes captivated me for a second, captivating me in a way where I wanted to be lost in them.
However, my fast-beating heart and the heat creeping up my cheeks and neck brought me out of my daze.
Was he seriously saying those words right when Aiden was standing here?
"Have you lost your mind?" I hissed at him, smacking his hand away before standing straight and smiling at Aiden.
"Come, sit. I will handle it. Don't worry," I comforted him, and he looked at me as if he was annoyed that I was coaxing him like a child.
"Sit here," Aiden held my hand and pulled me onto the two-seater sofa as I was about to take a seat beside Shadow.
Shadow looked at me with raised brows, but luckily, he didn't say anything.
It wasn't long before the dean walked out of his kitchen, his brows furrowed when he looked at me and Aiden, and I gave him a tight-lipped smile.
