VALENCIA'S POV
"Is this the way?" Maverick asked Tobias, and I turned to look at the man, who nodded at him.
After traveling for 10 hours by flight and road, we were finally in the forests, leading us to the Aravali ranges.
Apart from our apparent motive for being here, the place was beautiful and picturesque.
"Are you enjoying it?" Maverick asked, knowing the answer already. He smiled at me, and I hummed.
Though I was enjoying the view and the track, it didn't mean I wasn't in a rush to meet the fallen angels, not to mention the wariness in my heart because we didn't know whether these angels would perceive our arrival as friendly.
After climbing one of the mountains, Tobias stopped at some distance, and I looked at him with quirked brows.
"I am sorry, Alpha Maverick, Luna Valencia, but I have heard from a local that the fallen angels don't like the intrusion of their privacy until you need something from them.
