She twisted in her sleep. The same dream haunted her since she turned eighteen and walked out of that pack.
Valencia gasped to breathe as she found herself cooped up in the same blood-stained walls that seemed to have no end. Once again stuck in the same labyrinth after a long time, she couldn't help but try to find her way out.
It was the same cycle, but no matter whether she knew the outcome, she had to keep running from that blood-hounding, slithering Eidolon if she wanted to make it out alive.
It was barely a dream. She was well aware of that. But after meeting that devil who could affect her so profoundly, even in her conscious state with just her soul gone, she knew her life was in real danger, even in the dream. Dying in the dream was akin to dying in real life.
"Are you running away again? Are you sure you will find a way this time?" A voice hissed in her ears, and she shuddered in her place.
