Something was definitely wrong.
Even if they were able to know I was here because of my passport details that the council had because I was working for them, how were they able to find me in this place two hours away from the airport?
I can believe Dylan guessed everything right and knew I was here to meet the Lycans. The Lycan region was spread in an area that would take 3 hours to roam.
How come they found me so easily? I wondered as I followed Maverick, who was walking towards his car.
As I was busy in my thoughts, I suddenly saw a shadow in front of me, the shadow of a bird, and I remembered that there was one more thing that was very well capable of spotting me.
So Happy indeed betrayed me, huh?
I walked a little while glaring at the bird who looked at me a bit too innocently as it came down and sat on my shoulders, my gaze shifting to Asher who didn't look like he was too surprised.
