Just as Emrys walked towards the palace again, a stern shout full of rage reverberated in the air.
To everyone's shock, a figure had appeared not far from them. His clothes were stained with blood. Obviously, he had just killed someone or a few people before coming here.
This person was Gu Huzi who just returned after killing everyone, only to see the dead bodies of his fellow members from the Purple Flame Sect.
How could he not be infuriated?
Xu Ling and Emrys were new faces so he blamed them directly. It was too obvious that his companions were killed because of the appearance of Emrys and Xu Ling.
While Emrys and Xu Ling were confused after seeing the infuriated Gu Huzi, Yan Husheng, and others trembled in fear. They clearly remembered the terror they felt when facing Gu Huzi previously. Subconsciously, every one of them started to retreat which did not go unnoticed by Emrys and Xu Ling.
