Ellianor thought about it an instant, his gaze moving to Aur, gauging her reaction and mood about his "wasting of time". She raised her hand and waved at him.
"Make yourself home. I don't want to distract a system's user in the middle of his choice." His cheeks flared red for a brief second.
He was slightly annoyed at how she knew about his meddlings with the system.
'Mega Knight Slash could help against monsters like the abomination. I don't have a shield for parry.' And it would take one hand out of combat for the sole purpose of parrying.
'It requires a perfect parrying to work, I don't think I can do it right now. Chivalry is… powerful.'
A flat reduction to how stamina costs, and magic, which is something he still hadn't because of his class. 'I already have damage reduction…' Ten percent was a lot.
In theory, stamina would be less of a problem than damage since his class was physical, but it was only in theory. 'I felt the effects of stamina fatigue.' Stamina was more essential than many wanted to admit.
'Besides magic reduction.' Mega Knight Slash was powerful but it would require more stamina since even normal attacks would have that effect.
Running low on the stamina was a death sentence if he passed out or could not rise to fight again, even with a second life. Ellianor clenched the Locket tightly.
'If you need to use your revive, it is because you lack skill.'
Revives were always a backup plan that was best when they were never used in the first place. 'Sorry, but I won't count on you to win.' Needing without dying was better than winning by coming back to life.
'In the end, if mega knight slash consumes more stamina, it is a matter of how fast I can kill enemies before I run out of stamina, and Chivalry makes me fight for longer.'
The choice was clear. 'Stamina also makes me resist more damage in a way.' If he had run short on stamina while dragging himself, it may have been game over for him, and Kissenn.
Ellianor sighed and clicked on [Chivalry] as it was the unarguably good choice since stamina was needed in every physical act, even if it was not a literal number showing itself to him.

Ellianor almost fell off the sofa as he was jumped and scared by a wall of text with multiple topics he didn't expect. 'I unlocked all of that with a single skill? God dammit.'
'Prowess are like spells but for Knights? And I have a reputation now…' It was not as good as he expected. He was on a classification he disagreed with, but it couldn't be helped.
'Well, those guys are called Heresy Wardens. If anything, their reputation should be worse. Or it is, but my relationship with Kissenn and what happened at the station offset it'
Ellianor had not the most unpleasant start, but it could have been far worse. A new button appeared on his stats, and he clicked on it.

It made sense that the prowess he got from a stamina-saving skill was a stamina-recovering one. 'I will need to figure out how to get more prowess, or level up on my own.'
There should be other ways to gain EXP besides quests. "I see you have made up your mind. Get your friend awake, get some fresh food on the fridge and I will take you to where we need to be."
Ellianor nodded, and pushed Kissenn slowly and weakly, just to get her awakened up. "Just a few more minutes… I want to sleep…" She whined, more sleeping than awake, and Ellianor sighed.
He pushed her a little harder. "Hey, we got something to do. It is time to go on a mission." A red eye opened up, staring at him with displeasure and annoyance.
"Seriously? So soon… dammit. Can I at least shower?" Ellianor stared at the blue-haired alien, her slitted pupils shone with amusement.
"You can shower on the way to the mission, just get up." Kissenn groaned and got up, her bones cracking in the process. Ellianor rolled his eyes and stood by her side.
'Even if most things I got off the mystery box were trash, at least I got something of worth in the end.' The combat determination skill would pair well with Chivalry, and the ten-plus stats card was a heaven-sent gift.
'Who knows how long it would have taken to get strength or other stat that high normally.'
Investing in his forte was the right choice.
