Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 Crazy Arthas

On a distant mountain peak, a Female Gnome with silver-white hair tied in a bun was holding her head in pain, "It seems like history has taken a turn, how is this possible? Where did things go wrong? Oh, why is that Arthas appearing here? Oh no, he's charging in! Please don't die here! My vacation! Sob!"

Obviously, this was a Bronze Dragon who was supposed to be on vacation and was thrown here to deal with this matter. According to the timeline, Arthas should not have appeared in the Alliance army at this time. He should have still come to play hide and seek with Varian.

Arthas was indeed in the charging lineup, and he charged with his teacher Uther.

Uther in this timeline is not famous, at least he became famous after the second ORC war.

The only far-fetched reason that can be found is that Uther is loyal and will not rebel. As a disciple of Archbishop Alonsus, he has a good reputation.

Alonsus was not chosen, probably because Terenas was concerned about religious rights overriding imperial power.

"Avenger's Shield!" Swish! Arthas used holy light to conjure and throw a shield, knocking an orc off balance who was about to finish off a fallen soldier.

"Hammer of Judgment!" A beam of holy light struck down, immediately stunning the enraged orc, leaving him dazed and standing still.

Arthas swiftly drew his sword and aimed for the orc's throat, severing the major artery.

The orc's health bar rapidly depleted, and when he regained consciousness, he could only painfully clutch his neck before falling down, unwilling to accept defeat.

"Your Highness, be careful." Captain Farro led the guards to protect Arthas in the middle, faithfully carrying out their orders.

"Don't worry about me, coordinate in threes. I am a Paladin, I can protect myself. Come, I will heal you!" Arthas raised his hand and threw an Order of Glory, pulling up the injured soldiers.

Severe injuries that were once visible to the bone instantly improved.

This exaggerated healing effect even surprised the priests behind; holy light is powerful, but this seemed too much.

Thinking back to the banquet where holy light favored Arthas suddenly, the priests couldn't help but feel envious. Perhaps this is what it means to be a Prince!

Only Onyxia's eyes flickered a few times, her intentions unclear.

"Rogue, do not be arrogant!" Uther, true to his Paladin nature, faced off against Grommash Hellscream, who had already killed more than ten cavalry and could even take on demigods without hesitation.

The dense holy light emanating from Uther was blinding, and his hammer clashed fiercely with his opponent's.

If it were an ordinary knight, their hand would have been shattered and bleeding, but Uther just paused momentarily; the holy light protected him and continued to heal him.

This is the extraordinary aspect of a Paladin - being able to heal oneself while using holy light to enhance attacks.

Comparable in defense to a warrior, self-sufficient in healing, their methods are impeccable!

"Very good, finally a decent opponent!"

Grommash swung his large axe towards Uther, and the two legendary figures clashed.

Within a five-meter radius, debris flew around; anyone who got close, be it human or orc, would be affected - lightly injured or fatally wounded!

Meanwhile, Arthas on the other side was starting to go on a killing spree; for every orc he took down, he gained five percent experience.

With each level up, he gained ten points in strength, stamina, haste, agility, mastery, block, and other attributes.

Strength increased health and attack power, stamina boosted defense and health, haste reduced cooldowns on certain skills, agility enhanced movement and attack speed.

Mastery reduced damage taken, block damage, increased attack damage, and healing output, a well-rounded and somewhat balanced set of attributes.

Watching his experience bar steadily rise, Arthas's actions became more frenzied, often having the guards surround him in a coordinated manner.

One person on defense, one on distraction, and another on attack; this coordination often left the orcs defenseless, easily taken down, with Arthas delivering the final blow, a sharp sword piercing throats, eyes, and vulnerable spots.

Before long, Arthas's armor was stained red with blood, and he appeared particularly exhilarated.

Occasionally, a radiant light would emanate from him; raising his sword high, beams of holy light descended, healing the wounded soldiers and pulling them back into the battle.

His healing was calculated as a percentage, restoring 20% of health in one go, sometimes even more exaggerated than a priest's healing spell.

"For the Alliance, for victory, kill!"

Arthas entered a frenzied state; after taking down the first orc and seeing the blood spill, he felt nauseated.

But soon, he overcame it; he couldn't afford to vomit, couldn't lose face. He needed to build his power, increase his reputation, so he forced himself to keep on killing. The more he killed, the fewer repercussions he would face!

Onyxia remained by his side, occasionally incinerating orcs with fireballs, her fire magic more potent than that of an average mage.

Being Arthas's follower, this fact only raised slight suspicion; after all, it is common knowledge that royal followers are powerful.

Watching Arthas's escalating momentum, her curiosity about this young Prince grew stronger. How many more secrets did this boy hold?

"Ding, upgrade to level two."

"Ding, upgrade to level three."

Arthas's killing attracted the attention of the orc, and such an efficient killing tactic was like mowing grass.

Orgrim said to Guldan, "Put your death knights up in line! Kill that Prince!"

"As you wish, Warchief." Guldan did not dare to disobey. He had to gain Orgrim's trust to gain some freedom of movement for himself.

His purpose is very clear, from beginning to end it is to gain strength, not to follow the bullshit tribe to seize land.

To gain strength, he had to go to sea to find the Tomb of Sargeras, the leader of the Burning Legion. To find the Tomb of Sargeras, he needed a ship that could sail. He had reached a critical moment and he didn't want to waste all his efforts.

As the Death Knight appeared, the surrounding air seemed to become as cold as ice, and even the Alliance soldiers couldn't help but shudder.

These are not the death knights created by the Lich King. They are essentially the undead whose souls were stuffed into the bodies of human knights and forcibly bound and pulled up. They are not as powerful as the later death knights, and can even be said to be weakened versions.
