Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:

Waking up with your last memory of a green distorted childlike creature killing people and intending to kill you, in an unknown enclosed place with a massive platform and an abyss under it doesn't make most calm but Amory Evans often felt more alive when risking their life.

Rock climbing, bungee jumping, parachuting, if it could kill him it made him feel alive.

But a year ago an accident occurred during a climbing expedition his left leg got trapped under a bolder, two days stuck and a surgery later he was short a leg and no longer able to do as he once loved.

His parents had always been supportive but now they became stricter insisting I settle down and find a better job then a tour guide.

Heading home on his prosthetic leg from getting groceries he ran into a creature never seen before it took a large knife and stabbed a woman without warning and a large group of them suddenly emerged from a shadowy alley.

One by one he watched people die and one of the things came at him he was able to bash it's bead in with a chair from a café nearby but he couldn't handle the push back and toppled back as another came leaping at him but just as that happened he passed out.

Shaking his head at the memory he looked at the rack to the platform when a ding was heard in his head along with a pop up window.

-Congratulations on killing a monster on the first ten minutes of their appearance, as a reward you are given ten tower coins and given the title {Pioneer}

He swipes his hand through the glowing screen and began to feel his mind speed up with the adrenaline going through him.

He looks at his options and sees a store option along with a status bar and task along with several greyed out options, one is a auction, chat, and blessing.

He can only use two of many options, going to the store only a large amount books in varying languages and basic weapons with some food and water along with a option to buy a waste mana Crystal and a F-grade mana Crystal.

Looking at all things he knew that he would gain opportunity too more things as he progressed.

Looking at the task bar next he reads 'in order to advance past the tutorial you need to kill ten enemies.'

Last is the status screen and it is also very plain.

Wiping the dust off his body he stands up and looks for any signs of what enemy they meant but nothing except the large circle platform over the abyss stood out.

He decided to step into the small walk way and on the platform, he stepped through what felt like a layer of water and was on the circle.

A ding with a system message, 'first wave spawn.'

The creature he saw earlier only with no weapon appeared and jumped at him with a swipe of his claws, a gash on his right side and massive pain proved this real.

He jumped away from it and thought of what to do when the creature attacked again.

Dodging he remembered the weapons in the store and knew what he needed.

Keeping watch he went to the weapons and grabbed a sabre, he knew it was the easiest to use though tricky to do anything complex or actually master.

But for what he needed it was the simplest weapon to use.

The thing jumps at him and this time he swings at it and cuts off its arm before swinging again while it screamed in pain, slicing it's chest.

It screamed for a little longer before dying.

A ding, 'you have killed one of ten enemies, rewarding one tower coin' stumbling he leaves the circle and the wounds heal along with the white clothes the tower put him in.

There was no blood left on the blade but a small dent from use was still there, meaning the weapon would not repair like the rest.

Sitting down to think he knew that he should make the most of his current floor as he was sure there had to be a reason they put them in a tutorial like this instead of just shoving them on the first floor.

Looking at all the books the one with tower history was my best bet.

But the book was 100 coins and his first 10 where all spent on a decent weapon, all he can do is kill the creatures and build up his coins.

He looked and nothing indicating time could be found so he decided to just do as he thought as rushing up the tower could have major consequences.

Getting up he prepares for another fight, his aim is a hundred might as well get started.
