Grumble...
The stomach of a young boy protested as he patiently waited beside a river bank, his hands holding tightly to a semi-elastic stick tied to a long string.
At the end of said string was a hook piercing through a worm he had earlier dug from the moist earth in the forest behind him.
Grumble...
"I'm so hungry..."
He whispered to himself, his golden hair brightened by the rays of sunlight reflecting on it, and his body was dressed in clothing riddled with sown patches, an indication that someone had attempted to preserve them long after they had fulfilled their purpose.
"Hehe... I wonder if Mom and Dad will be surprised if I catch a fish?"
The boy giggled to himself and continued waiting patiently by the river bank despite his arms being sore from the sheer duration.
