"Huff... Huff..."
Berkah drew rapid breaths, blood streaming down half of his face and his ears ringing violently, as if his eardrums had erupted.
But the thick, dark blood mixed with parts of his brain matter suggested that his injury went beyond just mere eardrum rapture.
And yet, despite his injuries, Berkah stood tall, the immense pain he felt causing his body to tremble as if he were grappling with hypothermia.
The loud ringing in his ears continued for a second more, he felt as though someone had shoved alarm bells directly into his ears.
He then narrowed his crimson eyes but saw nothing, he couldn't tell if this was due to a fuzziness in his vision caused by his injuries, or if the sheer destruction of his clash with the being had completely transformed the once hilly terrain.
Sizzle! Sizzle!
Berkah's injuries healed, and with that, his hearing was restored.
