"Hiek!"
One of the Sheep Beastmen fell on his back, his entire being trembling in fear despite Berkah's attempts to put them at ease.
Berkah glanced toward the men clad in white suits; one of them was attempting to secretly unsheathe his sword to attack.
"Are you stupid? Don't move..."
Berkah spat in a cold voice, causing the men to freeze. In fact, they did not even dare to breathe.
"And? Are you going to answer my question?"
Berkah returned his gaze to the men who were scribbling symbols on the floor, his expression warm and friendly.
"We were ordered by Lord Hidero to carve these symbols on the floor for..."
The Sheepman glanced at Berkah's wings and felt a lump form in his throat, finding it difficult to squeeze out the words he wanted to say.
"... The ritual sacrifices..."
He swallowed the lump in his throat and averted his gaze.
"It's okay. I already know."
Berkah said, maintaining his smile.
