Huang Yanyan's POV:
The weekend was over, and I was heading back to Wuhan. The banquet had ended quite well, though I knew I had made quite a few enemies just by existing. Gramps sat me down in the living room while I waited for Wu Haoyu to come and pick me up so we could fly back to Wuhan.
"It hurts my heart that you have to go back to Wuhan now, my princess," Gramps said, and I could tell the old man was really hurt. His eyes were shiny with some unshed tears.
"Oh, come on, old man," I replied, trying to keep it cheerful as much as I could so I could see a smile on his face. "You know I'll be coming here for good after the exams."
"I know, I guess I'll just have to take the loneliness for one more month, and then it will all be over," he said, forcing a smile.
"Gramps, I promise I'll video call you every day," I assured him.
