It was a busy Wednesday for Brenda, and this time around it was overwhelming. She had a lot of deadlines she needed to meet before the day was over. Working under so much pressure like this was not what Brenda loved doing, but what could she do? Her job demanded it, and she wasn't trying to quit anytime soon.
Working like this had done more good for her than evil because she wouldn't have time to think or care about anything other than making sure she met the deadlines.
"You can't enter; you don't have an appointment with her," she could hear Sophie trying to caution someone from entering her office.
"I don't need an appointment to see her. What I have for her is more important than any appointment, do you get it," the person insisted.
"What kind of creature is this that doesn't follow simple instructions? You can't just barge into someone else's life without respecting their privacy," Brenda was fuming when she mumbled those words under her breath.
