"Now the dish will be superb!" Kenshiro said as metal rods clanged on the ground.
Yukiko's eyes darted toward the figure, "Who's that?" She took a step back, her foot scraping against the ground.
Riasa's eyes fixed on Kenshiro. "Don't know"
"But he doesn't look friendly." Her voice was barely above a whisper.
Kenshiro's smile grew wider. He took a step closer.
Toru's eyes widened in shock, he stretched out his hand.
Metal rods appeared tangled together with threads in front of them. With a flick of his wrist, the rods dropped to the ground.
Kenshiro's smile grew wider. "You blocked them..." He took a step closer, his body vanishing in an instant.
The group gasped in unison, their eyes scanning the area frantically.
Kenshiro reappeared behind Toru's back. "You passed!"
His fist flew through the air, the impact sending a huge thud through the ground, followed by a billowing cloud of smoke that obscured everything.
Toru burst out of the smoke. He pulled his hand back, threads shooting out from his fingers, and dragged Riasa and Hana.
The two girls stumbled out of the smoke, coughing and covering their mouths.
Yukiko and Misuki rolled out of the smoke. Yukiko kneeled on one knee, her hand on the ground, her eyes fixed on Kenshiro.
Mizuki hit the ground hard, her body limp, and didn't move.
The smoke cleared, Kenshiro's fist still lodged in the ground. He slowly stood up, his smile growing wider
Toru landed on the ground. The girls fell to the floor, their eyes wide with fear. Riasa's voice trembled, "He's a monster..."
Toru sprang to his feet. He strode to the front, "Hana! Riasa! Back me up!"
Hana and Riasa scrambled to their feet. "Right!" they chimed in unison.
Renji raised his glasses. "I want to see who will dine on whom!!"
Mizuki and Yukiko said, their voices laced with worry, "Kaito, where are you?"
Meanwhile, Hatoshi sneered, "So, what's your name?!?" as he sat on Kaito's chest, pinning him down.
Kaito's eyes flashed with anger, "How did this happen?!?"
He coughed, struggling to free himself. "Get off me!" Lightning sparks crackled on his body.
Hatoshi jumped off, landing gracefully on a nearby smoke cloud. "Well, that's rude!" he exclaimed.
Kaito glared at him, "Says the guy who sat on me!"
Hatoshi snorted, "Men don't scream! We endure!"
"Oh, I'll give you something to endure!" Kaito replied,
Hatoshi held up his hands. "Hold up! I can't fight you!"
Kaito's eyes narrowed, confusion etched on his face. "Huh?"
Hatoshi took a step back. "You're too strong for me already!"
Kaito's confusion deepened. "Huh?! What are you talking about?"
Hatoshi sneered. "My job is to keep you from going anywhere!"
"And that's what I'm doing!"
Kaito's gaze shifted to the smoke surrounding them. "Looks like we're moving!"
Hatoshi's smile grew wider. "Yes, you're inside a smoke prism I've created"
"And we're moving towards the edge of this ruin"
"And once we reach it, I'll drop you into the abyss of the ruins - an endless, bottomless pit!"
"You'll never come out again!"
"Who are you?!" Kaito demanded, his eyes narrowing. "How do you know about me?!"
Hatoshi sneered. "There's no need to tell the likes of someone who's gonna die soon."
Kaito's body tensed up. "What?!" He bent down, his fists clenched.
Hatoshi taunted, "So now you're scared, right?!"
Kaito's expression transformed, a devilish smile spreading across his face. "What? No."
He raised his head. "I just have to beat you before you reach there!"
Kaito vanished, reappearing behind Hatoshi in an instant.
He threw a swift punch, but Hatoshi faded into the smoke.
Kaito landed, his eyes fixed on the spot where Hatoshi had disappeared. "Tch."
Hatoshi's voice echoed from the smoke, "You thought you could catch me?!"
"I'll play defense from now on!"
Kaito growled, "Ok, this guy is getting on my nerves!"
Meanwhile,
Riasa and Hana lay unconscious on the floor.
The ground beneath them began to pound and shake, the tremors growing more intense by the second.
Yukiko's voice trembled with fear, "Toru..." She reached out a shaky hand, her eyes fixed on Toru's broken glasses.
