Seeing someone being hit by a ball caused a sudden wavering sound from the surrounding crowd. The expressions of the players on the field paled even more than the astonished gasps from the mass of spectators at the edge.
"Manman!"
"Nannan!"
Two shadows dashed the fastest, almost leaping up in the moment the ball soared toward her head, charging over. Blocked by people in front, they failed to catch the ball and could only watch helplessly as the ball "smack" hit the top of someone's head, their complexions turning green and white as if the ball had struck their own hearts, aching.
Manman, stretching out her hand to block the ball, could clearly feel the force of the ball hitting her palm and then striking her forehead. A buzz filled her head, dizzying her immediately as her phone fell to the ground. While squatting down, her body swayed, but she didn't fall. Rather, it was the suddenly approaching crowd that was terrifying, blocking out all the light above her head.
