"What would happen if I break the contract?" Tony questioned as he observed the contract while crouching down.
"Well nothing much, except for death," Harry shrugged as he rolled up the contract seal and placed it inside the system space.
"How do you do that?" Tony marvelled at how Harry was able to put and retrieve things out of nowhere.
Tony's mind raced with questions as he tried to make sense of what he had just witnessed. Harry's ability to put things into a space that seemed to exist out of thin air was beyond his understanding. He wondered if Harry had somehow unlocked the rules of space and was able to manipulate them at will. But then again, that would imply that there were rules to space in the first place, which seemed like a far-fetched idea.
'Could it be that Harry has somehow tapped into a hidden dimension where the laws of physics don't apply the same way?" Tony pondered, his thoughts spiraling into increasingly bizarre theories. "Maybe he's a master of quantum mechanics and has found a way to bend the fabric of reality. Or perhaps he's stumbled upon a long-lost ancient devices that grants him access to this mysterious space. It's like something out of a sci-fi movie!'
His mind raced with wild ideas, each more outlandish than the last. But as he was about to delve into another far-fetched theory, Harry's voice broke through his thoughts.
"You don't seem too surprised about the death clause in the contract," Harry remarked, a hint of doubt in his voice.
Tony's train of thought screeched to a halt as he realized that, in his fascination with Harry's abilities, he had neglected to react to the most shocking part of their conversation. The nonchalant way in which Harry had mentioned death as a consequence of breaking the contract was unsettling. It was as if he had mentioned something as mundane as the weather.
"I have my ways," Tony didn't explain any further and Harry didn't ask anything either as he himself in the first place had ignored Tony's question about the system space.
Tony took a moment to gather his thoughts before speaking. "How about making another contract?" he proposed, hoping to find a solution that would benefit both of them.
Harry raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "Regarding what?" he asked, intrigued by Tony's offer.
Tony took a deep breath before continuing. "I'll help you fight HYDRA and prove your innocence in front of SHIELD. That way, you won't have to run like a dog, hiding and constantly fighting enemies," he explained, hoping to gain Harry's trust and cooperation.
Harry considered Tony's proposal carefully. It was tempting to have someone on his side in the ongoing battle against HYDRA and SHIELD, but he couldn't help but wonder what Tony wanted in return. "And what do you want in exchange for your help?" he inquired, studying Tony's expression for any hint of ulterior motives.
Tony hesitated for a moment, weighing his words carefully before replying. "I want information about the weird energy inside your body. I want to know how to use it and its applications," he admitted, hoping that Harry would understand the value of the knowledge he sought.
Harry looked at Tony and wondered whether he was high or something. It was clear that the energy inside him was unique and powerful, and anyone in his place would definitely have no intention of sharing such valuable information.
"You must be joking," Harry scoffed, rejecting the deal without a second thought. He knew that only a fool would accept such a one-sided agreement, and he refused to be taken advantage of in such a manner.
Tony's expression fell as he realized that Harry was not going to accept his proposal. He had hoped that their shared goal of defeating HYDRA and clearing Harry's name would be enough to convince him, but it seemed that Harry was not willing to trust him with the information he sought.
"I understand if you're hesitant to share such sensitive information," Tony admitted, trying to salvage the situation. "But I assure you, my intentions are genuine. I truly want to help you, Harry. I believe that together, we can make a difference."
Harry remained unconvinced, knowing that he couldn't give up on the thing that made him unique in this world. "I appreciate your offer, but no way in hell I am doing that," he retorted, determined to protect the secret of the chakra within him at all costs.
"I understand," Tony conceded, feeling a sense of disappointment at the missed opportunity, but he didn't lose hope yet. "I won't press the issue any further. But if you ever change your mind, know that my offer still stands."
'Don't worry. After you find the proof of your parents' death, I don't think you would leave HYDRA alive,' Harry thought as he knew that Tony would be after HYDRA for vengeance making some of the job of destroying HYDRA a bit easier for him. Maybe Tony would even ask his help for this as they both had the common enemies after all.
'My sweet one million quest points,' Harry was lost in his future prospects of knowing that the one million quest points would be his.
"Alright then, let's talk about when we should launch the attack on the Siberian base," Tony said, as he stood up and say down on the sofa.
Harry nodded, considering the question carefully. "First, we need to find the exact location of the base. It's hidden in the depths of Siberia, and the terrain is harsh. It's going to take some time to gather all the necessary intelligence and devise a plan of action."
"You don't have to worry about that. We will find the location soon," Tony muttered.
"Well then I suggest we take at least half a year to prepare before launching the attack," Harry answered.
Tony frowned, clearly not pleased with the proposal. "Half a year is too long. I can't afford to wait for that long. Moreover now that they already know that you have some of their data, they may move the base to somewhere else."
Harry sighed, realizing that Tony was not going to back down easily.
After a bit of haggling, they both finally came to a conclusion.
"Three months it is, then. We'll use that time to make sure we have everything we need to strike with precision and force." Tony spoke.
