Harry approached the front desk and after speaking the code, he presented the required amount of money to the receptionist. With a quick check-in process, he was handed a key card and directed to the elevator that would take him to his room on the fifth floor.
As he stepped into the room, Harry was struck by the plush furnishings and the stunning view of the city skyline from the large window. He dropped his bag on the floor and collapsed onto the comfortable king-sized bed, his body feeling the weight of the day's events.
As he lay there, exhaustion washing over him, he couldn't help but replay the fight in his mind. The adrenaline rush had sustained him through the ordeal, but now that he was alone in the quiet of the hotel room, the full extent of his fatigue hit him like a tidal wave. He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh, trying to push the memories of the fight to the back of his mind.
As soon as he closed his eyes, Harry began to drift off into a much-needed sleep.
Not long after he was jolted awake by a sudden sense of danger. His eyes snapped open, and he lay still, straining his ears for any sound that might have triggered his instincts. But the room was eerily quiet. Even the distant sounds of the city outside seemed to have dulled to a whisper.
Harry's senses were on high alert, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up as he slowly sat up on the bed. He couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. His acute hearing picked up the faintest of shuffling noises from outside the room, and his instincts screamed at him to be cautious.
With silent, calculated movements, Harry got up from the bed and approached the door, his muscles tensed for action. He pressed his ear against the wood, trying to discern any clue as to what might be lurking on the other side. It was then that he heard the unmistakable sound of muffled voices, speaking in hushed tones.
Harry's heart raced as he realized the gravity of the situation. He quickly moved to the balcony, careful not to make a sound as he peeked over the edge. What he saw made his blood run cold.
The street below was teeming with activity. Several cars and bikes were parked outside the hotel, their engines idling ominously. Men in black suits stood in strategic positions, their eyes scanning the area with intense focus. H he arry's eyes widened as he spotted others wearing helmets and black armor, ready for a confrontation.
As he observed the scene below, Harry's mind raced. How had SHIELD found him?
He had been careful to cover his tracks, to stay under the radar. He had even changed his appearance and he was still caught anyway.
'Is there some sort of tracker planted into my body?' Harry thought but if it was the case then the SHIELD could have already found him as he had stayed in Harlem for quite a few days.
Moreover even while fighting with the Abomination he had worn a mask. Also SHIELD didn't knew that he had supernatural powers in the first place. So they definitely wouldn't connect the guy in maks who fought Abomination to Harry.
'Ahh, F*ck it,' Harry shook off all the unimportant thoughts and focused on escaping from here.
A surge of adrenaline coursed through his veins as he formulated a plan. He couldn't let himself be captured, as being captured means death by accident. He had to find a way out, and fast.
He wouldn't have been in such a tension if the SHIELD had surrounded him some other day. As now his Chakra Reserves were not even half filled. He had used considerable amount of Chakra while fighting Abomination.
Getting out of the room with a changed appearance won't work as the SHIELD seemed to have already singled him out.
Harry contemplated for a second and then glanced at the balcony.
Harry took a deep breath, steeling himself for what was about to come. He knew that jumping from the fifth floor was risky, but he had to try. With a quick scan of the area below, he spotted several agents of SHIELD waiting for him, ready to capture him at all costs.
Without a second thought, Harry leaped from the balcony, hurtling towards the ground at a terrifying speed. As he fell, he focused his chakra, feeling the familiar surge of energy course through him. He needed every ounce of strength and agility he could muster for what he was about to do.
As he plummeted towards the ground, Harry's eyes narrowed as he concentrated on the agents below. With a swift hand seal and a focused mind, he unleashed the Fire Release Fire Breath Technique. A torrent of scorching flames erupted from his mouth, engulfing the agents in a blistering inferno. The intense heat and force of the flames sent the SHIELD agents scattering, their shouts of surprise and pain echoing in the air.
The SHIELD agents below cried out in pain and surprise as the searing flames licked at their uniforms and singed their skin. Some frantically tried to roll on the ground to extinguish the fire, while others desperately sought cover from the blistering heat.
"Call for backup! We need to catch him before he causes more damage!" an Agent shouted, clutching his singed arm.
Harry's heart raced as he swiftly shifted his focus to the task at hand. He couldn't afford to be caught off guard, not even for a moment. He quickly performed another series of hand seals, tapping into his chakra once again. This time, he invoked the powerful Wind Release Stream technique.
A ferocious gust of wind erupted from his hands, altering his trajectory in midair. The force of the wind carried him away from the chaos below, propelling him towards a cluster of parked motorcycles. With a deft twist of his body, Harry managed to reposition himself just enough to land towards the parked bikes.
While landing, he spotted an Agent already mounting one of the motorcycles, ready to give chase if things went south.
Without a moment of hesitation, Harry reached into his system space and retrieved a kunai, the polished steel glinting in the light.
As Harry landed on the bike, he saw the agent's eyes widen in shock and realization. He had no idea how Harry had changed his direction so swiftly while in air. He was just observing Harry who suddenly disappeared and appeared behind him.
Before the agent could react, Harry swiftly thrust the kunai towards his head. The polished steel easily broke through the helmet and pierced the agent's skull, instantly snuffing out any resistance.
"Guuuh," a sound escaped the agent's mouth as blood sprayed from the wound and the agent slumped forward, lifeless.
Harry didn't have time to dwell on the violence of his actions. He quickly kicked the agent's body off the bike and revved the engine to life. The roar of the motorcycle echoed through the quiet street as Harry peeled away, leaving the chaos of the SHIELD operation behind.
"Get him! Don't let him escape!" one agent yelled as he tried to pat out the flames on his uniform.
