Chapter 357: Personal Revenge on Yun Shan
In the air, the Lion Ming Sect suffered heavy losses. Under Xiao Ze's deliberate control, the fragments of Lion Tian's body scattered, covering most of the strong members. However, these were merely flesh and blood remains, not true weapons, and had little lethal effect on strong Dou Zun-level fighters. The few surviving members of the Lion Ming Sect felt no relief; instead, they were filled with terror. They were well aware of their sect master's strength, and Xiao Ze had crushed him with a single punch!
What level had Xiao Ze reached? Had he broken through the Dou Zun realm and stepped into the Saint realm?! The surviving members couldn't help but wonder, but Xiao Ze had no intention of answering their questions. His gaze swept over the remaining strong members, finally stopping on a blood-covered figure.
"Yun Shan?" Xiao Ze's eyes showed a hint of surprise. It was like finding something he'd been searching for effortlessly. Yun Shan, sensing the murderous intent in Xiao Ze's voice, turned pale. The crushing defeat of Lion Tian had left him with no will to fight. The gap between him and Xiao Ze was so vast it was despairing.
"The culprit behind the countless deaths in the northwest continent must be executed!" Xiao Ze's tone was icy. He stepped forward, appearing before Yun Shan, his fist filled with boundless power, crashing into Yun Shan's chest!
Boom!
Deep blue ripples spread through the surrounding void. The impact wasn't overly loud, but the space it touched shattered inch by inch. Even the remaining Dou Zun-level fighters couldn't escape and were consumed by the deep blue ripples. Yun Shan, at the center, had no chance to escape. His body shattered along with the space, the excruciating pain contorting his face.
Realizing the immense gap between himself and Xiao Ze, Yun Shan thought of self-destructing. But Xiao Ze moved too quickly. Before Yun Shan could react, his body was already broken, and the surging energy was suppressed by Xiao Ze with a backhand.
"Even at death's door, you seek to harm others," Xiao Ze said disdainfully. Just sensing the foul, bloody aura on Yun Shan, he knew how many lives Yun Shan had devoured. Only Lion Tian's vile aura surpassed Yun Shan's.
With two punches, Xiao Ze eliminated the main culprits, including the surrounding Dou Zun fighters. Seeing Xiao Ze's incredible feats, Lüxin involuntarily swallowed. The deep blue ripples had made him nervous, fearing they'd engulf him as well. Thankfully, the alliance leader had precise control, targeting only the Lion Ming Sect fighters.
Below, the coalition members gazed at Xiao Ze with admiration and fervor. Lüxin had calmed them earlier by invoking Xiao Ze's name, so they knew their savior was the alliance leader, Xiao Ze. Watching Xiao Ze in mid-air, the coalition members couldn't help but shout their thanks.
"Thank you, Alliance Leader, for saving us!"
At first, the shouts were scattered, but they quickly grew into a deafening roar. The coalition members, veins bulging, shouted at the top of their lungs, venting their fear, anger, and humiliation from the past days. The remaining members of the Lion Ming Sect, hearing the thunderous shouts, were filled with terror and began to retreat. They had once viewed the coalition as prey, but now the tables had turned, and they were the lambs awaiting slaughter.
Hearing the cheers below, Xiao Ze hesitated. These people were, after all, members of the central forces, not part of the alliance. He turned to Lüxin, his eyes questioning. Lüxin laughed, "Alliance Leader, give the order."
Xiao Ze looked at the surviving leaders, who smiled and nodded. "Thank you, Alliance Leader, for your help. This is a small matter; we won't mind."
"Everyone, raise your weapons and avenge your fallen comrades!" Xiao Ze's voice, imbued with battle energy, echoed like thunder, rousing the coalition members. They picked up their weapons, eyes burning with hatred, and charged at the Lion Ming Sect members, fueled by Xiao Ze's protective domain.
Seeing the remaining Lion Ming Sect members, the coalition members noticed they seemed defenseless, their previous menace gone. They knew it was Xiao Ze's domain aiding them, allowing them to seek their revenge.
In the air, Xiao Ze provided support but didn't directly engage. He let the coalition members take their revenge, ensuring their spirits would be unburdened.
"Thank you, Alliance Leader, for arriving in time. Without you, we would have perished at the hands of the Lion Ming Sect," the leaders said, full of reverence.
"Why did you come alone?" Lüxin asked, puzzled.
"The alliance is on its way. I was worried about you, so I came ahead," Xiao Ze replied.
"Thank goodness you did, Alliance Leader. The consequences would have been unimaginable otherwise," Lüxin said, relieved. The other leaders shared his sentiment, grateful and fearful of what might have been.
"How is Lei Qiao?" Xiao Ze asked, seeing her being helped over.
"Cough, I'll live. I'll need a few years to recover, though," Lei Qiao said, her face pale but unconcerned.
Xiao Ze smiled, "Here's a seventh-grade healing pill. It should help with your injuries." He tossed her a bottle.
Surprised, Lei Qiao hesitated. "This..."
"Take it. You earned it by saving many lives. You deserve it," Xiao Ze said casually. His alchemical skills made such pills common for him.
"Thank you, Alliance Leader," Lei Qiao said, accepting the bottle gratefully.
"What are your plans now? The damage caused by Lion Ming Sect won't be easily repaired," Xiao Ze asked, glancing at Lüxin. Lüxin sighed, "Alliance Leader, you know we're from the central region, the hardest hit by Lion Ming Sect. Our legacies are in ruins; all we have left are our disciples. Would you accept the Heavenly Snake Sect into the alliance?"
The other leaders were surprised but quickly saw the sense in Lüxin's request. Joining the alliance seemed like a good option.
