For whatever reason, a quarter of his hair was still snow white and the system said that bloodline burst was still active. He was honestly very confused with this skill, hopefully he'd get some answers when he reached level 10.
After a while of fiddling with the system screen , Zen found something called "System log" by accident. It was exactly what it sounded like, a record of all system interactions since he had gotten the system

Freya was an avid reader and even had an entire library filled with old novel s and manga from before the infusion. Although it was unknown how she had done it as close to all of the earth's culture had been wiped out entirely, she had manged to build from scratch and fill an entire library so enormous it would put even the most dedicated and introverted otaku to shame.
She had also gathered unthinkable amounts of knowledge and culture of the planet, things that would have been seen as bedtime stories by many today like pyramids hundreds of feet tall that had been built with only manual labour,or a huge tower that had had almost fallen and was eternally leaning . It was actually quite confusing. Sometimes she was an elegant and refined young genius who appreciates the arts and has a love for modern and ancient culture and knowledge all-round, and at other times she was a perverted manga and anime fanatic who would shamelessly watch and read hentai and other weird stuff around the house and constantly fantasized about entering any of her fantasy worlds in those books
At this point, Zen could say it without batting an eye. Freya, the woman who raised him was a perverted anime addict/cultural and refined young genius with a knack for knowledge,oh! And she was also a crazy battle maniac.
Because of Freya, Zen actually had more knowledge about the world before and after aether came around,so much so that his worldview was completely different
Although he achieved all this, Zen hadn't even come close to reading everything in Freya's library but despite this failure, Freya had succeeded in molding Zen into a complete genius , and although he didn't go to school, he was smarter than most veterans in their respective fields of work, all he lacked was experience
Of course Freya was only one of his parental figures. He had been taken in by two people, and all his "parents" had given him a certain gift.
Freya's was the gift of knowledge, and this knowledge was mostly the cause of his skill tab's magnitude
Giving into her requests, Zen used the new skill which conveniently required no energy and looked at the only target he could find

It seems this was all the skill could show as of now but Zen could already see its usefulness. If Jade hadn't been so honest with him or if he had on some random person, it might have been useful.

Zen nodded, not against the idea. He had brought her into his mess. Crowley was his problem, not to mention the fact that he had been the one to damage her,so it wasn't out of place to make up for it.
Speaking of Crowley, where in the world was Raven. Those two were never too far apart so she was probably close by
Unknown to Zen, the moment he turned his gaze away from Jade, her big green eyes fluttered open as the first thing she saw was white and black
Jade felt strange so she didn't move for a while. Her head hurt like hell and she felt extremely dizzy so she stayed motionless for a few more minutes before she could see clearly. She looked forward and saw the back of someone's head that currently had both white and black hair. Looking slightly right she saw an obsidian black earcuff around the person's helix
