Due to his severe injuries, Doflamingo found it challenging to speak and could only stagger out of the meeting room under Byakuya's watchful, smiling gaze.

Those few meters felt like years to him. Just before leaving, he forced out a threat,

"If we weren't at Marine Headquarters, you would be dead by now! Watch your back when you're out at sea, or you won't know what hit you."

With those words, his face turned ashen, and his breath grew weaker. Byakuya couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. Is this what villains are like?

Throwing out threats, even when beaten, is amusing. He took Doflamingo's threats as a joke.

If Doflamingo came seeking revenge, it would only mean more power for Byakuya.

Sengoku, hearing this, broke out in a cold sweat, taking half a step to the left to subtly position himself between Byakuya and Doflamingo.

'Damn, do you want to die even faster? Even in this state, you can't stop threatening people? Do you really think you're that strong?'

Threatening a Marine Rear Admiral right in front of the Fleet Admiral.

If Doflamingo kept going, Sengoku would have sent another shockwave his way without Byakuya lifting a finger.

As the meeting concluded, Byakuya saw no reason to stay any longer. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku, I'll go visit Master Zephyr now. Commander Tsuru, see you next time."

Sengoku and Tsuru watched as Byakuya walked away. Sengoku sighed deeply. Tsuru, noticing his troubled expression, asked, "What's really going on?"

After a moment of silence, Sengoku replied, "Do you believe Byakuya already has the strength of an Admiral?" Tsuru, surprised, said, "An Admiral! At such a young age?"

While she knew Zephyr's pupil was strong—strong enough to defeat Jack the Drought—Sengoku's comparison to an Admiral was beyond her expectations.

Sengoku nodded gravely, "And I don't think that's even his full strength. There's something elusive about that boy."

Tsuru, having only met Byakuya for the first time, also felt that enigmatic vibe Sengoku mentioned.

His calm smile seemed to suggest he had everything under control, exuding confidence that was anything but blind.

Given her years of working alongside Sengoku, Tsuru quickly deduced his concern. "You're afraid Byakuya might betray the Marines?"

"Given his nature, it's not impossible," Sengoku sighed deeply. "As long as Zephyr is around, Byakuya should remain loyal. But if Zephyr were to disappear, who knows…"

Hearing this, Tsuru suddenly laughed. "What's so funny?" Sengoku asked.

"Sengoku, you're really getting old. I don't think Byakuya will betray the Marines," Tsuru replied confidently. "Why not?" Sengoku asked.

"You can see his loyalty in the lengths he went to save Zephyr. He's a good kid who values relationships."

"He'll remember the kindness shown to him. As long as the Marines don't do anything to harm him, he won't betray us."

Sengoku didn't reply immediately. He understood these points and knew Byakuya's character quite well.

However, his concern was that circumstances might force the Marines into a position where harm was inevitable.

For now, the goal was to strengthen Byakuya's loyalty to the Marines.

As Byakuya returned to the Marine training camp, he felt a sense of nostalgia. Though only a few months had passed, his strength had changed dramatically.

"Byakuya-senpai!" He hadn't been standing at the entrance for more than a minute when he heard a sweet voice calling out to him.

Turning around, Byakuya saw Ain standing there, her long, wavy blue hair cascading down her back. Teasingly, Byakuya said, "Oh, isn't this little Ain? What brings you here?"

"Master Zephyr mentioned you'd be coming to Marine Headquarters for a meeting today."

"He figured you'd visit the training camp afterward, so he specifically asked me to wait here for you," Ain responded, her face turning red with embarrassment.

She snuck glances at Byakuya, eyes filled with admiration.

The news of Byakuya defeating Jack the Drought had spread throughout Marine Headquarters, and his heroic rescue of Master Zephyr had showcased his immense strength.

Many students in the training camp idolized Byakuya. As one of Zephyr's disciples, Ain frequently heard stories about Byakuya and was very curious about him.

When she learned he was coming to the training camp, she eagerly volunteered to wait for him at the entrance. Byakuya, however, didn't notice Ain's admiration.

Following Ain's lead, the two of them headed to Master Zephyr's office.

Along the way, Byakuya experienced what it felt like when he and Garp first arrived at Marine Headquarters.

Every student they passed excitedly greeted Byakuya, respectfully calling him "Byakuya-senpai," even those who had once opposed him.

Finally, they managed to escape the crowd and reached Zephyr's office.

Inside, they found Zephyr leisurely reading a newspaper while sipping tea. Ain knocked on the door and announced, "Master Zephyr, Byakuya-senpai is here."

"Master Zephyr, I've come to see you," Byakuya greeted cheerfully.

Zephyr glanced up at Byakuya, put down his tea, and returned to his newspaper. Byakuya was puzzled.

What did this mean? Was he not welcome? Smiling, Byakuya moved closer to Zephyr and asked, "Master Zephyr, how are your injuries?"

Zephyr glanced at him sidelong. "Thanks to you, what should have taken a week to heal took half a month."

"Uh…" Clearly, Zephyr was still upset about Byakuya encouraging the students to sleep more.

Since that incident, morning training sessions have seen numerous late arrivals, and some have not shown up at all, confidently citing Byakuya's advice that one good sleep could make them great swordsmen.

Zephyr was almost infuriated to the point of fainting. He had to take drastic measures to correct this bad habit, or else morning training sessions might have been canceled in favor of more sleep.

As Byakuya stood there awkwardly, Zephyr suddenly asked, "I heard you're planning a trip to Water 7?"

Byakuya quickly replied, "Yes, I'm going to build my own ship."

"Then take Ain with you."

"What?"

"Is there a problem?"

"No! No problem at all!" Byakuya stammered.

Beside him, Ain's face turned bright red as she buried her head in her chest.
