There are different reactions to bad news. Some people drown their worries, letting indifference take the front seat. Some others wail and scream at the heavens.
Cincinnati did neither. The weight of the world was pressing against her shoulders, but she shrugged it off.
"The Graveyard… it's gone," Darkus was panting, eyes unfocused. That was the first time she'd seen him show intense emotions of that sort.
"Gone? What do you mean gone?" The words came out in a rush, but she didn't think about it. There were more pressing matters to attend to.
"Get everyone together, they're all going to want to hear this," Darkus said vaguely, already regaining his composure. But she didn't need to be told what'd happened, even though they were hundreds of kilometers away, the sky was as black as the night, and it was coming from one place in particular.
