"Good day, Principal." Dion bowed respectfully. He raised his head and said, "I missed my way here when using the badge and displacement tunnel."
"You don't know how to use the badge?" Principal Lyna asked.
"The badge? I merely press the button, the displacement tunnel forms and I enter. Is there a method I don't know about?" Dion arched an eyebrow.
The Principal palmed her face. "This is the disadvantage of not being present during the orientation. Besides, I can't believe Rowan didn't explain it to you. You hold the button on the badge and different tunnel points will be displayed on it. Then you pick the one you want to go to. What you previously did is follow the default position the last person chose."
Dion's jaw dropped and he shook his head.
Dion suddenly thought of something. "Then why isn't your tunnel activating?"
"Mine only works with my badge or certain approved badges," she smiled at Dion before beckoning him to follow her.
