With the new book I got from the old lady yesterday, I started reading. I realized that I can read the language of this world. a little hard but enough to read without any inconvenience.
This book contains the whole history, even from 2024 years ago. It all started when, on the previous planet, when mankind reached the peak of technology, it was attacked by monsters through some portals opened in the sky. At the beginning of the invasion, mankind faced the attacks, but as time went by, it became harder and harder until it became almost impossible to face the new attacks.
Taking drastic measures, humanity decided to build massive ships to escape and colonize another planet in the hope of survival. The world built six ships: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, and Zeta, with Alpha being the strongest and Zeta the weakest.
They left the planet in search of a new one, and after many years of searching, they discovered a new home far from their old one. The new planet they settled on was named Omega. The book contained many regrets about leaving the old planet and not repeating the same mistake.
This planet was several times bigger than Earth.
The new home had a completely different ecosystem but contained oxygen, which was very important to humans. They decided to settle on the new planet, with the Alpha ship at the center of the formation and the rest of the ships surrounding it. In time, humanity discovered new minerals.
Using old and new resources, they begin to build massive fortresses around the ships and settle on the new planet.
Discovering new monsters and portals similar to the old planet, a new war begins for their new home. Over hundreds of years, mankind, not wanting to repeat the same history and the same regrets, begins to analyze these portals and monster bodies and discover a new power, they call "Mana.".
With the new power, humanity they can extend their own lives, but a large majority died because of the monsters or because of another fighter.
After further research, they realize that by injecting the new force into human bodies, they can unlock powers and build weapons and armor from monster bodies, where it is most effective in their warfare.
They decide to continue their research and discover that they can enter portals and gain many new resources.
In the year 635, the first foundations of the new era called the "Age of Might" are laid as the Passers advance in new technologies and become more efficient in processing and building new weapons and armor.
In the year 1037, the first foundations are laid for a new association called the "Fighters' Association," where it is decided that once someone reaches the age of 18, they are entitled to unlock the powers. The world decides to categorize the new powers from rank S to rank F, with the weakest being.
In the year 1459, the Association stabilized a new system where you can take missions, buy or sell materials, armory, weapons, and information.
In the year 1658, the guilds begin to appear, and they begin to invade the portals for their own profit and benefit.
A great war begins for the portals, and the guilds start to fight themselves. This was a dark age for humanity; they called it "The Age of Blood.".
In 1862, a new system for guilds was founded to stop the war and massacre. Now the association has founded a rank system for the guilds, and the guilds are now not allowed to attack portals below their guild rank, or if they attack a portal above their rank, they need special permission, called "a promotion attack.".
Until now, the ships have started to build multiple branches and expand, of course with the Alpha ship in their center. With the help of these new powers and technologies, the world has managed to conquer 35% of the total planet.
After finishing the book, I now understand the world I am in and decide to unlock my powers and register as a fighter to take missions.
After again analyzing the new information, I left the house and searched the building of the association. I asked in left and right the people around, and I found out that the building is in the center of the fortress.
Happy because now that I know where I have to go, I return to the house to see if the old me has some money.
I search in the only drawer I have in the room and find a small bag with some bronze coins. With some coins, I go to wash myself and buy some decent clothes.
After I finish washing myself, I go to a small shop and see some clothes on the left of the shop near the weapon section. I decide to buy a black hoodie jacket with some black jeans. When I am ready to pay, I take a rusty knife to defend myself.
I was ready to go to the center of this fortress. When I get closer to the center, everything starts to change, from the buildings to the vibes of the city, with people with very clean and expensive-looking armor and the roads full of modern cars. Some cars fly over everyone with my neck only on top. I see the beautiful buildings made of glass, the ones I saw yesterday from a distance.
After I finish admiring the city, I start walking again to the association building. From the distance, I already see the unique building, a tall, large building with expensive decorations and multiple large windows like the house where I stay. It was a building I would only see in a fantasy world combined with futuristic design.
From the distance, I start to admire the building, and as I get closer, it becomes more and more beautiful. As I start to climb the stairs, I see
I see an open lobby with multiple counters and multiple people with different kinds of armor. I start to get closer to a counter, and a young lady smiles at me and asks if I need some help.
The first thing I asked was about this fortress, and she replied, "This place is called Delta-3.
a branch of the Delta ship, anything else?"
I say, "I come here to unlock my powers," and she takes me to another room with a ball in the center of the room, and she says to put both hands on the ball.
When I touch, I feel a power enter my body. After a moment, that feeling disappear , and the young lady looked at me and said, "Congratulations! You have unlocked your power. Put your hand on this table to check your new power and to register as a fighter."
I put my hand on a tablet, and a blue window similar to my system appears above the tablet.

The lady was looking at me with a worried face. She explained to me about my power. Apparently, I can build various units, but because my rank is only F due to mana, I am limited in what I can build and how many I can build.
She explained about the ranks and the missions I could take. A new piece of information was that I can find skill books when I invade a portal. These portals appear randomly in the world and are a rewards after I finish the attack.
This type of book has numerous blueprints to build, but it doesn't affect me because I have the system.
She takes me to another counter, and she explains, Here I can sell the materials, and if I want to buy something, I need to go to the following annex, where I will see a big sign reading "Store."
When we return to the counter, she extends me a bronze plate with my name and rank.
I see on my left a big wall with different kinds of missions on papers, and I look for the F rank mission, and I take "Kill 10 goblins, rank F, reward: 50 bronze coins."
After I finish the registration and take my first mission, I walk to the closest gate to leave the city. When I was in front of a big gate, a bodyguard asked me about the identification plate. I extended the plate, and after confirmation that the gate was open, I left the city. The first thing I see is a big road. surrounded by a field and different kinds of monsters on the field. After I see the goblins, I take my first step on this new adventure.
