In Lily Gomes' office, the atmosphere was tense.
Lily sipped her morning tea, lost in thought.
"What happened?" Tyler whispered to Omar.
"I think it's because of the giant hand that appeared yesterday," Omar replied softly.
Tyler recalled the phenomenon from the previous day. The enormous hand had been a shocking sight, visible to many within the sect.
"White, Omar," Lily called out, breaking their conversation.
"Yes, boss," they both responded, standing to attention.
"The sect will be sending numerous disciples to investigate. You two will be going as well," she informed them.
Both Tyler and Omar nodded.
"I won't be coming with you. You'll be on your own," she added.
