The sun peeped through from behind the curtain, meaning that it was time I'd wake up, I've been doing this since I could remember and I could wake up quickly and easily like on command. I guess you could say that I'm a light sleeper.
My routine wasn't in any way out of the ordinary, before I reunited with Aurora I would just take strolls around the castle for some sightseeing. It was incredibly boring and to add to that I never had any tutors who would teach me how to use any kind of magic or even how to harness my psychic abilities.
I thought it was terribly unfair, as the weight of the fate of the entire Kingdom was just hanging on my shoulders, and the higher-ups had nothing to do about it as though they barely gave a whit.
I got out of bed and did my morning stretches. I opened the drapes so that there could be light. It was a bright morning bound to be a beautiful day, I stared out of the window for some time before heading towards the privy to get ready for the day's activities.
I got out of my nightgown and got into the bathtub and used a washcloth to clean up while doing that my thoughts still lingered on last night and all I found about magic.
"I need to find a way to master magic," I thought to myself. That way I would be able to awaken my companion. I secretly hoped it was a hawk or eagle so that I would be able to soar through the sky and have almost perfect vision.
I had finished taking my bath and went into the walk-in closet to pick out an outfit for the day.
I was all dressed up now and went to pick up my food from my doorstep delivered by the palace maids in a service cart today I decided to go to the garden in the courtyard behind of her room to have my meal to enjoy the scenery on such a lovely day she took her food and a basket as she made her way to the garden with a mat she laid it on the grass and ate her food as though she was having a picnic.
I quietly sat and enjoyed the delicious meal, it was quite scrumptious. When I had finished I headed out. I was hoping to find the enchanted garden with ease.
I had some trouble finding where the enchanted garden was because I had never been there or even seen it before, so I chose to go towards the parts of the palace where I had not been before. As I was searching around I suddenly saw a dust cloud and some leaves, so I headed in that direction curious about what was going on over there.
I heard the potions teacher; Mr. Finch say "By the way I see it and I'm no spell-casting expert, you have done extremely well Your Highness."
So I asked, "What's all this hullabaloo about."
