Avena, Sophia, and Julian exited the ICU, leaving Arlo alone, grappling with a sense of betrayal.
Remi cradled his daughter, whispering words of comfort, "I'm sorry, Chloe. It seems like it's just you and me now. I hope to raise you into a woman Bunny would be proud of."
"Chloe!!! Remi, you named your daughter Chloe!!!" Arlo blurted out, his confusion evident.
In the heat of their earlier argument, Arlo hadn't picked up on the fact that Remi had referred to his child as Chloe.
"Yes. Her name is Chloe," Remi confirmed, his voice devoid of emotion.
"You told me that you wanted to name your daughter Julia and if it was a son, Justin," Arlo reminded him.
Remi explained, "Bunny told me a day before she died that she wanted to name our daughter Chloe."
Arlo mused, 'The System Ascent showed her name as Chloe too. Does that mean the system already knew her name right after she was born, or even before?'
