Harper gently guided Rachel into the bed and breakfast tucked away near the train station. Though it lacked the grandeur of a traditional hotel, the establishment felt more like a cozy family home, exuding a welcoming, intimate ambiance.
As they approached the reception desk, the friendly staff greeted them warmly. "Breakfast is served since 5 am, just in case you have a train to catch," the receptionist noted after handing the key to Harper.
"Thank you," Harper replied, her expression reflecting a sense of contentment.
